THE SQUIVANAN Note 1: All of this may be used in whatever you want! Like put it on a webpage, in a clone, or which is best, in fanfiction. I encourage it! Note 2: Starconblubber is canned, so don't worry about using my gameplot ideas too! Note 3: The Squivanan have undergone quite a personality change. Now they have a reason to kill you.
General info. The Squivanan look like a yellow star with strange filaments attached. They consist of energy with somekind of containment field around it to keep them into the shape they are. But the (light)energy within them doesn't last forever and has to be replenished every once and a while. If it isn't replenished, the particular Squivanan dies. Therefore they 'suck' the life-energy of other races to replenish their own. This process can only be done by killing other races, and only just before the alien actually dies. then, the Squivanan captures the life energy of that alien. Their ship has some sort of 'life-energy magnets' to attract the life energy of dying aliens aboard the enemy ship. However, The Squivanan will never completely wipe an alien race out. Technology. The Squivanan are a technologically very advanced race, with a very powerful ship. Gameplay. The Squivanan are your enemy, there is no reasoning with them, although they are very polite to you and apologize when they are going to kill you. You have to find a way to keep them replenished with life energy. (suggestions? like finding a planet which has springs with life energy? maybe even some precursor-interaction??) Communication. (squivcom.gif) The Squivanan captain will tell you al you want to know. He is very polite to you. He will not insult you, just simply tell you that he requires your life energy and therefore you shall be destroyed. History. The Squivanan have evolved on a planet where springs were which supplied an endless amount of life-energy for them. They were a peaceful race for many centuries. Only, a race -which may be still in the Starcontrol universe- destroyed their planet. (suggestions for the alien race?? maybe the Mycon or an offshoot to them?) When they no longer had a supply of life energy, there entire race almost died out, until they discovered that one could actually steal life energy from eachother. But stealing from eachother would still render the race extinct eventually. So they began attacking neighbouring species like the Worx, the Plar and the Flzldlzl. Misc. The Squivanan are not utterly evil. They just have to kill aliens, or they'll die themselves. Ship

Crew : 50 Energy : 20 Recharge : Medium Speed : Slow (like Chmmr) Rotation : A bit Fast (like Utwig) Weapon : Charging laser, if firebutton is held down, weapons damage will increase. When released, a powerful well-ranged laser is fired. color of the lasers is yellow when weak, red when medium, purple when fully charged. Special : Ship emits a strange glow which results in some of the crew of the enemy ship die a strange death. Usage : This is probably the most powerful ship. Close distance and launch attacks with the glowing field. Or remain at some distance and fire the laser. Always keep the laser as charged as possible. |
