Entertainment on these ships is virtually non-stop and there is literally something for everyone irregardless of age or interests. From bingo and very quiet card rooms to discos and casinos, whatever your mood, you can find the perfect atmosphere. The main theater onboard is usually going all day and evening with Vegas style stage shows, concerts, magic shows, comedians, television style game shows, bingo, talent shows, and more. And there's no shortage of on deck activities to while away the hours at sea.

And if you feel the need to exercise away a few of the extra pounds you will undoutedly acquire through constant eating, these ships boast state of the art health clubs with all the latest equipment, saunas, steam rooms, massages, jacuzzis, pools, and walking tracks.

Shopping onboard can be another way to pass the time at sea with most of these larger ships boasting mall-like shopping areas with a plethora of shops that offer just about anything you could want including alcohol and tobacco products at very low prices (but if you wait, you can actually do better in some of the ports!) The cruise ships are cleverly laid out to where you pass through the shopping mall constantly when moving around the ship. Hmmm, accidental... I wonder.

The same can be said about the onboard casino. It seems you pass through the casino enroute to everywhere on the ship. The casinos are mini Vegas style settings with no shortage of gaming opportunities for the gamblers. They have slot machines, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, caribbean stud, and a variety of other games to sate every appetite. But, as you might expect, gambling is NOT included so you may want to bring a little extra cash along.

To give mom and dad a nice vacation, the cruise lines offer a full slate of activities for all ages of children and teens from video game rooms to no-alcohol teen night clubs to fully supervised children's activities.
