“Saying things like that can get you in trouble.” Jerry answered with a playfully seductive grin.
V shook her head, laughing. “I just hope Corinthos didn’t get Eve in trouble.”
Jerry looked surprised. “You think? The house is small. Don’t you think we would have heard?”
V smiled. “I guess we will know soon.” She said as she heard the door creek as it opened.
“V, Jerry.” Eve said as she walked out wearing what she had the night before.
Sonny came out behind her. “Morning. Are we ready to hit the road?” He hoped he could avoid explaining anything if they were focused on their mission.
V and Jerry looked at one another before speaking.
Kevin looked at Scott. “You are on, Baldwin.” How could he be in this situation with Scott again? Things didn’t happen that way. “You came back to Port Charles, moved into my house, stole my fiancé and now you have slept with Laura. Does the fact that a woman is in a relationship with me mean anything to you?”
Scott smiled. “I lived in Port Charles first. I knew Lucy first. I dated Lucy first. Lucy gave birth to my child before she even knew you.” Scott was going to continue but Kevin cut him off.
“And then you left. You took Serena and you left town. You didn’t let Lucy see her.”
”I was doing what was safe for my daughter. I stand by that decision.” Scott informed Kevin the anger in his voice unmistakable.
“So you came back and called first dibs? It doesn’t work that way. We aren’t in middle school.”
“She came back to me. She could have stayed with you. She had the good sense not to.”
Kevin groaned. “She had the good sense to leave you too, for Luke Spencer.”
Scott fumed. He didn’t need to be reminded that Lucy wasn’t the first to make that trek.
Kevin smiled at his obvious anger. “Is that the deal with Laura too? First dibs? She was your wife first and you deserve her now?”
Scott interrupted. “It works for me, Collins.”
“It won’t be that easy, Baldwin.” Kevin answered before getting up and storming out of the restaurant.
Luke tried Laura’s home phone and cell as he raced towards Amy’s to pick up his daughter. Where was Laura? She never picked Lulu up more than five minutes late. She was obsessive about knowing that Lulu was in safe hands ever since Lucky died.
”Where are you?” He asked slamming his cell phone shut as he reached Amy’s apartment. He got out of the car and raced to her door.
Amy opened the door before Luke had a chance to ring the bell. “I don’t know what happened with Laura but I have to get to the hospital. They have been paging me all morning.” Amy said before going into retrieve Lulu and her things.
“No problem, when you hear something keep let me know.” He said as he took his daughter and her things and headed back to his car.
“Where is Mommy? It is her day to have me.” Lulu said confused as Luke put her in the car and made sure her seatbelt was secured.
Luke didn’t want to scare his daughter. He took a minute to calm himself as he walked to the other side of the car. “Something came up Sweetheart. I am going to take you to breakfast, okay?” Luke hoped he would run into somebody who knew something at Kelly’s.
“Okay.” She said with a smile. She was with Daddy she would be okay. She smiled more when they pulled into the parking lot at Kelly’s. She undid her seatbelt and hopped out of the car when she saw Kevin. “Hi.” She said happily as she ran to him.
Kevin smiled and tried to appear calm. “Hey Lesley Lu, Luke.” He said as he saw Luke catch up to him.
“Hey, Collins.” He greeted Kevin. He wasn’t thrilled that Lulu was so close to him; but he was good for Laura and he had been good to Lucy. “Princess why don’t you go in and order.” He said and watched his daughter get safely inside.
“Have you seen Laura?” Both men asked simultaneously after the door had closed.
Laura tried to clear the fuzziness in her head. “What do you mean not good?” She asked after realizing what Stefan had said about their son.
Stefan took Laura’s hand. “He is still unconscious. They fear he has slipped into a coma.” Stefan answered as calmly as possible.
“What?!” She asked as calmly as possible. “How?”
”There was an accident. His car was hit by AJ Quartermaine.”
Jason heard Carly crying as soon as he walked in the door. “It’s okay Carly. We are right here.” He said in a soothing voice as he ran as fast as he could up the stairs without endangering Sarah.
Carly breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Sarah in his arms. Reaching for the baby she began to speak in a shaky voice. “I missed two feedings? Where did you go? What happened?”
Jason took her arm and led her to the rocking chair. “Shhhh… This isn’t good for you or Sarah. You didn’t miss her feedings. You were sleeping soundly, for once. I took both of them.”
Hearing this calmed Carly considerably. “Where did you go?” She asked in a much more stable voice.
Jason tried to think of the best way to tell Carly. “I had to pick up Michael. AJ was arrested.” He said softly.
“What?” Came Michael’s small soft voice from the door.
Alexis tried to clear the sleep from her mind. What was today? Jax seemed a little hurt that she didn’t remember. After a moment it came to her. “A year ago today we married.”
Jax grinned. “Okay, you pass, this time.” He said with a small laugh. “Now if I were you I would get dressed.”
“Why where are we going?” She asked confused. He canceled all of her appointments and he expected her to get dressed and out of bed?
Jax simply smiled. “That, my love, is a surprise.”
