"What are you saying? You are going to withhold sex until I tell you? Why do you want to know so badly?" Alexis asked stunned by Jax' reaction to her meeting.
"He was your lover, remember?" How could Alexis not know why it bothered him?
"Yes, I do. That was a long time ago. It is over. You know that." Hadn't they gotten past that? Alexis asked herself. The breakup with Ned had been hard, but it was over months ago. Jax knew that.
"You broke up with him eight months ago. I know that. However, I worry you will change your mind. I love you, Alexis. How do you expect me to react when you walk into our home and say your ex lover was 'damn good'?"
Alexis saw the pained expression on Jax' face. She had played long enough. "I expect you to know I wouldn't hurt you. My meeting with Ned was completely innocent."
"What was 'damn good'?" Jax asked again, a little relieved, but still curious.
"His new CD. He has a song that will hit big." Alexis answered with a smile. She loved that Jax cared enough to become jealous.
"Oh really? Anything we can dance to?" Jax asked as he moved back to his wife.
"Dancing comes later." She replied before taking his mouth with hers.
Luke looked at Bobbie. This was going to be hard. "Darlin' Sarah is sick. She needs a blood transfusion to make her better. Because of her condition it has to come from Carly or Carly's father." Luke explained simply.
Bobbie closed her eyes against the pain. "You know the circumstances behind Carly's conception." She said softly.
"We know. Still, we have to try to find him. For Sarah, we have to try." Luke tried to gauge Bobbie's thoughts as he spoke. "Can you remember anybody. Names, descriptions, anything at all about the johns you had around the time of Carly's conception?"
"God Luke, there were so many. It was a long time ago."
"Please, Bobbie, try to think, for Sarah." Jason pleaded.
Bobbie sighed. "I will try to remember. I'll look through my old things. Maybe something will come up. I'll call you in the morning." Bobbie hated that her mistakes could cost Sarah her life. Bobbie stood up shakily. She couldn't let them see how upset she was. "I have to go."
"Bobbie, stay." Carly pleaded. However, it was in vain. By the time the words had left her mouth, Bobbie was out the door.
Laura waited for somebody to answer the phone. "Come on, be home." She said as she drummed her fingers against the steering wheel. There was only one person who could help her now. Laura prayed she could find them.
"Get out of here, Collins." Scott said forcefully after Laura left.
"Scott, don't you think it would be better if we tried to discuss this?" Kevin asked calmly.
"You can't shrink my head on this one." Scott answered. "Just go."
"What are you going to do?" Kevin asked firmly. He was not about to leave before he had talked to Scott.
"Collins, this is the second time a woman has played us both. I don't really want to see you right now. Get out."
The tone in Scott's voice convinced Kevin that it was a very good time to leave. "This isn't over."
"Nah really?" Scott asked sarcastically. "Go."
After Kevin left, Scott sat on the sofa and thought back to how he got involved in the situation. The Nurses Ball, he remembered. After Julie got out of Ferncliff and regained custody of Christina there was no hope for him and Lucy. They both loved the little girl. It just hurt too much to be together without her. Still, Scott always assumed they would work it out. Then came the Nurses Ball. Lucy announced, during the opening act, that she was Mrs. Luke Spencer. Scott didn't know who hurt worse. He found comfort in Laura's grieving arms. He never expected this.
"AJ? He ran down Nikolas?" Stefan asked quietly. He finally understood why Emily had been so reluctant to tell. "I am sorry." He tried to sound comforting.
"No you aren't. You are going to report him to the police." Emily cried.
Stefan couldn't say anything. That was what he was going to do. "I will inform you of any changes in Nikolas' condition." Stefan said before he left.
Bobbie tried to clear her head as she drove. She knew it would be a long night. She had planned her first night home, with Stefan, to be happy. Now it would be painful. Dreading the task before her, she drove to the hospital.
Bobbie went her husband's office. She longed to feel his strong arms wrapped around her. When she arrived, the office was dark. "Stefan?" She said confused. He had planned to be in all afternoon.
"Barbara." Came the soft reply.
Bobbie spun around and saw Stefan in his chair. "Why are you sitting in the dark? What's the matter?" Bobbie sat on the edge of Stefan's desk.
Stefan spun towards his wife and pulled her into his arms. "Nikolas was in an accident."
"Is he okay?" Bobbie asked as she held him tightly.
Before he could answer the phone rang.
"We are leaving tomorrow. Make sure you get some sleep. I don't want anything going wrong tomorrow." Jerry answered Sonny's question.
"Well then, we better be going." Sonny said as he got up and headed for the door.
"No, everybody stays here." Jerry corrected.
"Where are we supposed to sleep?" Eve looked around the room didn't see openings for many bedrooms.
"That is your problem. Venus, we need to talk." Jerry and V went to his room.
"Okay, Luv. What happened with Simon?" Jerry asked as soon as the door closed.
