Zeruhn Mines
 To use a pickaxe you simply target the Mining Point and use a pickaxe (from items menu). The blue marks on the map are known minimg points.

You can mine here at level 8 or so. The mining points here are not often mined. There are bats and worms you can kill in between mining. You will find lots of Iron ore here

In Zeruhn Mines you will find...
pebbles (2-300 gil/12)
Tin ore (50 gil)
Copper ore (50-100 gil)
Zink ore (250-300 gil)
Iron ore (5-600 gil)
Darksteel ore (5-6000 gil)
