How do I play Online?
 So you've read the What? page and you want to know how.Well you've got to have a few materials.You need The ZSNES Emulator,Secret of Mana or SoM2 ROM,and the internet(which if you are reading this i presume you have it).For those of you who need those materials,move on down to the bottom of the page and download ZSNES Emulator.You might need a rather new version of the ZSNES so if you think you have an old one,download this anyway.Now you need the ROM of SoM or SoM2 right?Well to be legally correct,and to not piss off the suits at Angelfire or Squaresoft,I can't host it here.But i can give you a link to it.Go here The Cult of Kefka.The link i just gave you is probably the best ROM site that still works,and lets hope it stays that way.Kudos to you Kefka,for having cool music and a cool ROM site ^_^.So now you got both the Emulator and the ROM  right?Well itz time to play!Unzip both your emulator zip file and your ROM zip file into the same folder and then click on the zsnesw.exe Under "Game" at the top of the window,go to Load and then find your SoM Rom(it should be a .smc file) and load it up.Now thats how ya play for all you newbies,heres the deal on the internet.Click on your zsnesw.exe and then go to the 4th thing at the top called "Netplay" then go to "internet".This where the communication between you and a bud comes in.Ok if your bud(lets say itz me) is going to be the host(meaning i do the saving,loading,and i'm 1st player,and if i quit you quit automatically).So i would say "lets start a game in Secret of Mana!I'll be the host.My IP is 99.0.76.45" so look under client options(in the middle of the window) and put in the server's IP(mine) as 99.0.76.45 then click  "Connect to Server".*secret of mana win music plays*.Thats it!Now lets say you were gonna be the server.You'd like "Hey Joshirou,my IP is 88.0.66.77 i'll be the server" so you would go to Netplay then Internet then click on the button "start as server" and wait for me to show up.Once i show up the chat will start and then we can load the game.In the chat you can choose the number of players or you can disconnect.The host can also choose were it is saved.After connected,you can go back to Netplay then Internet to bring the chat back up.Simple huh?You should be able to just Load the game up and play now,but i have to experiment a little more to be certain.But thats about it.Ready to play?You better be!Go on to the Chat or the Forum to set up a with all the other SoM Players.Here's the Emulator(if you aren't using windows go to an emulator site and get the other versions-just search for Emulators at a search engine.
