Description:
The Von Luckner is an ancient tank design, dating back to the end of the Reunification war. It was designed as a treaded battlemech, and as such is heavily armed and armored. Sporting a plethora of missiles, and a deadly AC/20, the Von Luckner quickly became one of the most feared tank designs. The AC/20 itself is the most accurate AC/20 ever mounted on a tank. Rumors abound of an experimental variant with two AC/20s, at the expense of all other weapons besides a SRM 6.
Unfortunately, time has taken it's toll. Like many factories, the Von Luckner factory was taken out during a Succession War. The amount of Von Luckners has been steadily decreasing, but those that are still around are a clear testament to the durability of this rare, deadly tank. Sadly, with all of this ammo-based weaponry, it's very very susceptible to ammo explosions, and sometimes the ammo jams. As with all tanks, the Von Luckner enjoys a small profile on the battlefield, making it a bit difficult for some mechs to hit; and also, making it an effective rammer.
