Description:
Wow. The Challenger X MBT is a direct product of the Clan invasion, a joint project by Kallong Industries and General Motors. The two manufacturers came up with the idea that by producing well-armed, well-armored conventional vehicles en masse, they could swamp the Clan invasion like a flood. This tank was the result. It's got several types of weapons, and can easily tackle any operation.
The Challenger is so heavily armored, it puts some Assault mechs to shame. 14 tons of ferro-fibrous armor grace it's squat body, making it absolutely deadly. The only drawback is it's slow speed, but compared to other tanks, it's average. This is truly one of the big daddies of the tanks. As with all tanks, the Challenger enjoys a small profile on the battlefield, making it a bit difficult for some mechs to hit; and also, making it an effective rammer.
