Creating your character

Now you should know at least the species of your new character. If not, go back and decide on one. Next of course you need its gender, male or female. Then you have to decide its age. The age of different species is varied. Usually the character is considered a pup/cub before it is weaned, and a juvenile until it reaches maturity, adolescent/yearling (for wolves) for the first year and adult for the rest. Do take into account the lifespan of the species.
After that, you can decide the markings/scars and coloration of your character. It may be easier to find a picture (and use that picture for your profile), then use the colors on that animal. Make sure it fits the species, though.
Next is the most important aspect of your character- its personality. Or might we say, your character's character. This determines what happens to it when you start roleplaying. The personality usually depends on what type of past the animal has had, so it is equally improtatnt to at least have a rough idea of your character's history before you start roleplaying. It's useful for flashbacks, too ;)
Lastly we have the alliances, or sides: Pure, Good, Neutral, Evil, and Chaos. Pure and Chaos creatures are rare, most are the middle three. The names speak for themselves, really.
That's about all you will need to know about character creation. Use your imagination and creativity... It helps a lot in roleplaying.
