Races
Races?
You may or may not be -- probably the latter -- wondering why there is a "Races" page on this site. I assure you, there's a perfectly good reason for it. Saiya-jins are not the only race existant in the Dragonball Universe! There are 6 main races featured in this RPG: Androids, Changelings, Half Saiya-jins, Humans, Nameks and Saiya-jins. There is also a feature which will allow you to create your own race (If you have an explainable reason and is DBZ-oriented).
Each race has 2 basic specialties given to them, qualities which make them more different from the others. Along with these basic specialties, they'll have a number of other specialties which are rated. They can have up to sum of 6 points from the specialty ratings.
Ex.: Someone chooses two Level 2 Specialties, and two Level 1 Specialties which equals a total of 6.

Androids
|
| Androids are non-living warriors, therefore they do not have a life force nor do they have the ability to create techniques. Their greatest power lies in their ability to improve the parts composing them and the creation of new weapons of which to wreak havoc.
Androids, due to their nature, are unable to Charge during battle or use any special Battle Rules that require PL. Nor do they have the ability to gain XP or TP, instead having Credits. Also, they do not possess any Transformations, having to rely solely on bettering themselves with their credits.
Ex.: Androids #18 and Android #20

Changelings
|
| Changelings are the great controlling factors of outer space. They are powerful figures, menacing warriors and tyrants among the scum of space. They caused the genocide of many races and civilizations, but hope must be left that not all are bad.
Being a dictator of outer space isn't an easy task, you tend to make a lot of enemies. This is shown in the form of Saiya-jins, which are sworn enemies -- whether in the open or not -- of the Changeling race. Because of things, Changelings cannot Spar with Saiya-jins. Changelings don't learn Skill too well either, which makes them apathetic toward their uses. Add 10% to the finalized TP cost of Skills. Changelings have locked power levels as well, meaning they only start with 20% of their max PL and have to transform to reach the rest.
Ex.: Frieza and King Cold

Half Saiya-jins
|
| The product of Human and Saiya-jin procreation. These prodigy warriors have proven to be incredibly powerful, keeping up with the older and more experienced fighters. Like their Saiya-jin progenitors, they are physically capable and have potential for human success.
Half Saiya-jins are usually deprived of attaining truly powerful Transformations. Also, their tail tends to become a weakness during battle, especially if grabbed -- they become unable to do anything, not even attempt to resist.
Ex.: Gohan and Trunks

Humans
|
| Humans, although not the most powerful race in the Dragonball Universe, have a few good things going for them. They're adept at commerce and creating new ways to defeat their opponents. One thing you have to say about Humans is although they don't have great Transformations, they're strong in their own right.
As strong as they are, Humans just don't have the growth of other Races. They also lack that raw power that gives other races their edges in battles.
Ex.: Tienshinhan and Krillin

Nameks
|
| The little green men from the Planet Namek are usually a peaceful lot, but if riled up, they can become a rather formible foe. They are a very special race due to their natural healing abilities but also because of their other varying specialties.
Namekians, like mentioned earlier, are of a peaceful sort, therefore don't usually rely too heavily on their physical prowess. Due to this, the physical damage they inflict isn't too amazing -- reduce rolled Fight damage by 15%.

Saiya-jins
|
| Probably the most popular race in the Dragonball Universe. Who knows why they have taken the masses of fans by storm -- probably because of their ability to become a Super Saiya-jin? -- without chance of turning around. Either way, I suppose you're going to want to know their specialties.
A major weakness among Saiya-jins are their tails. This tail causes much problems, as if it is grabbed, they cannot move until the tail is released. If they get rid of their tail, their stats will always have a 5% decrease.
Ex.: Goku and Vegeta

Others
|
| The previously covered races are not the only races in the Dragonball Universe. There are countless more, and I realize that you might want to play as some other type and that's perfectly. Just keep it DBZ-oriented (and please, no cross-overs from other anime/mange).
So you think your race won't have a weakness, eh? Well you're WRONG. Everything has a weakness, it's just a matter of finding it. Remember, I will look over these personally, so don't try to make some uber character.
Ex.: Ginyu Force, Henchmen of all sorts and all other unmentioned.
