The history of your Elders is long and diverse. Here there will be a brief discussion of them, listed chronologically by their birth order and seperated by their Mothers to seperate the half-siblings from the full-siblings.
It was Dworkin who came forth from Chaos, self-exiled. It was Dworkin, aided by the Unicorn, and bearing the Jewel of Judgment, who created Pattern, Amber, and all of Shadow. After, it is rumored, Dworkin lay with the Unicorn, and the Unicorn gave birth to Oberon. Oberon would go on to rule the Kingdom of Amber, but he would have Dworkin's guidance and the Unicorn's blessing.Dworkin is a master of Trump and Pattern, he is also an accomplished Sorceror, Shape-Shifter and Logrus wielder. He is friendly, wise and sage, though he can be a stern teacher, as will be attributed by his choice students, Fiona, Bleys and Brand.
He is rather dwarf-like in his appearance, long bearded, hook nosed and hunchbacked. But, for all his strange appearances, he is a kindly old man.
The patriarch of the Amber line, the All-Father, had it not been for the passion in Oberon's loins, and his desire, it seems, to bed every maiden in Shadow, none of the Elders would have been born, and certainly, none of the Second Generation would have been brought to Amber. Oberon's fiery loins bore the fruit of Amber, and will likely continue to do so.Oberon is, without doubt, the Liege of Amber. He has forever ruled Amber, and will likely continue to rule Amber forever-more. He is stern, and brash, and fearsome. To be in his presence is to look on the very face of god, for though Dworkin created Amber, Oberon has made it his own.
Oberon looms over everyone, even Gerard. He is tall, and broad and wide, his stern gaze passes over, and judges, all. His hair and beard are black, shot with silver, he usually dresses in the green and gold that are the Royal colors of Amber.
Cymnea was Oberon's first wife, and bore three heirs for him, Benedict, Osric(d) and Finndo(d). Oberon, however, did not remain with Cymnea and had a dalliance with Faiella. After fathering Eric, Oberon had his marriage to Cymnea utterly dissolved. This removed Benedict (the only living heir) from the line of succession for the Throne.

The warrior of Amber, Benedict has defended Amber's shores countless times. He's taken the field of battle against Amber's enemies and has never, never lost. Should Benedict decide to involve himself in a battle, it is only a question of when, not if, he will win that battle. The epitome of quiet fury, Benedict is calm and collected, few have seen him angry, even on the battlefield. He has little to say, though when he does speak his words are powerful.
Benedict is a scarecrow of a man, tall and lean, narrow of face, with long straw-colored hair. Beneath his loose fitting clothes, his muscles ripple like corded steel and possess centuries of discipline and skill.
Oberon's union with Faiella doomed his relationship with Cymnea. However, his subsequent marriage to Faiella was not without problems of it's own. First off, his first born son with her, Eric, was born out of wedlock. And though Oberon later adopted him, he made a deal with merchants in Cymnea's Shadow not to recognize him for succession in order to finalize a mercantile deal. Faiella bore Oberon two further sons, Corwin and Caine, before she died giving birth to Oberon's first daughter, Dierdre.

The first illegitimate son of Oberon, Eric knows that he will never be King. But that has not stopped him from loving Amber. He serves as a politician and diplomat, advising Oberon on affairs in the Golden Circle and beyond. He's quick-witted and deadly with a blade. He's also something of a ladies man, though nowhere near as adept at it as his flame-haired brother, Bleys. Eric may be, perhaps, the one Amberite who pushes for the greater good rather than the pursuit of personal agendas and grudges. He does reserve some animosity for his full brother Corwin, however.
Eric is tall and well-built, with a constant smile gracing his handsome face. He usually dresses in black and red.

As the first, true and undisputed heir to the Throne of Amber Corwin is not the nicest guy around. He can be downright mean should the mood strike him. In fact, it's a wonder that his siblings have let him live for so long, but you can chalk that up to the fact that he's clearly Oberon's favorite son.He really has no "duties" to the Crown, though he served in the Navy. Sometime bard, sometime gambler, sometime womanizer, Corwin has it easy. And it's easy to dislike, even hate, him. Lately, he's been gone a lot, most of the family just bids him good riddance.
Bitter and cynical, Corwin seems to wear a permanent scowl or a "holier-than-thou" smirk. He favors black and silver attire.

Dark and swarthy, Caine inherited the features of his mother, oddly, instead of Oberon. He seems to be a balanced mix of traits between his two older brothers. He's inherited Eric's sense of politicking and diplomacy, but Corwin's mean spiritedness. This is not to say that he gets along well with Corwin, quite the opposite. Nor is he mean for no reason. Caine is scheming and sneaky, and one can never be sure who he's plotting against. Caine keeps his secrets and his cards close to his chest. He has a love for the sea rivaled only by Gerard, but what else he loves is unclear.
Caine is handsome, his dark eyes, skin and hair make for a good combination. He usually wears a combination of black and green.

The first daughter of Oberon, Dierdre is graceful and beautiful. However, being raised in a completely male dominated household, her mother dying while giving birth to her, she is something of a tomboy. She is as skilled with a blade as she is with a distaff, and as comfortable in armor as an evening gown. She is one of Corwin's few supporters in the family, standing firmly by his side, even in matters of difference between he and Eric. Dierdre walks a careful line in the family, and acts as something of a bridge between the sisters and the brothers.
Dierdre is as beautiful as she is fierce, with pale skin and long dark hair. She, like Corwin, tends to favor black and silver.
After Faiella's death, Oberon did not marry for many years. However, his journeys in Shadow eventually took him to a far southern Shadow where he became infatuated with a red-head named Clarissa. He married her not long after that, but their union was not to be without its problems. Sometime after the birth of Bleys, his seventh son, Oberon became disenchanted with Clarissa. He found solace in the arms of Moins, a Rebman. Their tryst produced Llewella. When he returned to Amber, he reconciled with Clarissa and produced Brand, the last of the red-head line.

Slight of build, but not of mind, Fiona is the undisputed master of all things Pattern. None of the family has been a better student of Dworkin than she, though others have excelled in different Powers.First born of the Clarissans, Fiona seems to be the head of their "coterie", though she seems to care a bit more about Brand than Bleys. She does not have a strong relationship with any of her sisters, especially Florimel, though seems to get along well with the majority of her brothers.
Though short in stature, she seems to stand above the others, her red-hair matches her personality and her green eyes can be at once stern and compassionate. She usually dresses in greens and shades of purple.

The true playboy of Amber. Bleys is the life of the party, entertaining the ladies and joking with the men. He seems to be larger than life, master of wit and blade. The devil's own angel. Bleys' charm is legendary, and he is well-liked by all.But his charm reflects just the barest scratch of his surface. Bleys has also studied under Dworkin, nearly as much as his sister. But he holds his cards tighter to his chest, as no one but he seems to know what he's taken away from that schooling.
With a crown of flaming hair, and the devil himself dancing behind his bright blue eyes, Bleys is, quite possibly, the most charming man in existence. He tends to favor reds and oranges to compliment his hair.
An advanced student of Dworkin's teachings, Brand is quiet and reflective, mastering, perhaps, more of Dworkin's powers than anyone save his sister. He shares more with Fiona, than with Bleys, though is undoubtedly the younger of the trio. The result of a short-lived reconciliation between Oberon and Clarissa, Brand carries that burden, as well as the shame of Oberon's tryst with Moins. There is a haunt in his eyes, and he can possess a somewhat unnerving quality. He is a study of contrasts, and wavers quickly and suddenly between moments of delight and despair.
Brand has inherited his sister's eyes and his brother's hair. He favors green in his clothing.
Oberon's consort during the troubled years with Clarissa, Moins of Rebma produced only one addition to the Amber line, Llewella. She was forgotten by Oberon almost as soon as he refound the comfort of Clarissa's embrace. The remainder of Moins' life has been lost to history, though her legacy remains behind within her daughter.

Finally recognized by Oberon after his divorce from Clarissa, Llewella still never fully involved herself in Amber's politics. Preferring to mainly remain in her home of Rebma, Llewella is an outsider to many of the family.Still, this does not mean she is not cordial to them. She has her favorites amoung the family just like any other, though she is somewhat cool towards Random for unknown reasons. She often provides a neutral third party for settling family squabbles.
Marked by her stunning jade green hair, and sad, matching eyes, Llewella is certainly a product of Rebman breeding. She prefers greens, grays and lavenders.
Little is known of Lady Dybele, save her passing during childbirth of her only daughter Florimel. If the resultant child is any indication, though, Dybele was a Lady of vast beauty and poise. Likely graceful, charming and intelligent, Dybele's memory is left to reside in the actions of her daughter.

The very definition of refinement and beauty. Florimel is a shining gem amoung the family. The youngest known daughter of Oberon, he has protected and loved her more than perhaps any other child, and she has enjoyed that protection as well as returned that love. Flora's beauty is the stuff of legend, and the great beauties of Shadow can all be attributed to her reflection.Flora also serves as Chamberlain for Castle Amber. She can be reached, when not in the castle, via her Trump, for the planning of parties and receptions, the scheduling of events, or the assigning of rooms. She has recently taken up residence on Shadow Earth, in a region called New York. She spends much of her time there.
While Flora's official colors are grey and green she rarely wears them, possessing a wardrobe as vast and different as all of Shadow.
After Dybele, Oberon went out into Shadow, and soon returned with another bride, Rilga. She quickly bore him two sons, Julian and Gerard, and during this time Oberon stayed close to Amber and his latest familial additions. Rilga, however, came from a distant Shadow whose inhabitants possessed a very different metabolism than Amberites and she began to age very quickly. Oberon, true to form, became disenchanted with her, seeking out "comfort" in Shadow. That comfort came in the arms of Paulette, who returned to Amber with him as his bride. The ensuing scandal died quickly, and soon, too, did Rilga. She finally succumbed to old age at a distant Shrine of the Unicorn.

Master of Arden Forest, huntsman, ranger and man-at-arms is the dour and stoic Julian. Sarcastic, cynical and somewhat mean spirited, one would think he would get on very well with Corwin, but the hatred there between them is well-documented.Julian is the undisputed ruler of the Forest of Arden, a task he holds with the help of his massive horse Morgensturn, a small army of hellhounds, as well as falcons, Rangers and any number of other, secret, servants.
Though he is traditionally clad in his trademark white scale armour, his colors are black and white. A scheme with which he usually chooses to view the world

The strongman of Amber, Gerard is also the likely candidate for gentle giant. Though possessing reserves of strength to make anyone rightfully nervous, Gerard rarely lets his temper flare, though when his ire is finally up, usually after a threat to Amber, woe be to the individual who receives the beating.Gerard is the Admiral of all the fleets of Amber and spends much of his time either at sea or near it. As such, he is often the Amberite furthest from Amber, depending on what his duties are and where he is required to be. However, his distance from Amber does not diminish his love as he could very well be the one child of Oberon that loves Amber unconditionally.
Favoring naval regalia or loose, comfortable Captain's clothes, Gerard is usually clad in blue and grey.
Paulette is the current Queen of Amber, and is a nervous, high-strung beauty from Shadow Earth. Though she was barely Flora's age when Oberon met her (indeed, she was one of Flora's college friends at the time), she has aged as all Shadow dwellers eventually do in the Eternal City. Still she is considerably youger looking than her husband, or indeed, most of his children, earning her the nickname "Queen Infant" behind her back. Her only child thus far is Random, though it is rumored she is pregnant again.

The term "snot-nosed punk" hasn't come into play in many Shadows, but it could very well be Random who inspires it. Wine, women, and song are the only items on his plate and he cares little for the line of succession or the intrigues of politics, much to the pleasure of his siblings.Random is not responsible enough to have a steady position within the court, and instead spends much of his time pursuing various vices throughout Shadow. He is often the butt of jokes and ribbing by his brothers, usually picked on for many things. If, however, Random is maturing from all this, he is not showing it.
Random favors wild clothes in wilder colors, though his traditional colors are orange, red, and brown.
