They are under the thumb and rule of the machines, yet they embody the compassion their masters have sold like so many beans at a market. these entities work to involve the mortals in their care, yet also try to stay in power to do so. It is a thin line they walk, and one assured to one day break. They prepare for that time, and hope that those they gave aid to will return the favor someday...
