Physical and Personality Description:

Orion Americus is very petite and short. She rarely smiles. 
Her face is always one of polite indifference. She can be
very mysterious and always silent unless asked a question.


Abilities: 

Psychometabolism - Enhancement done by classified surgery 
that altered the very genetic structure of Orion's DNA. She 
displayed the capabilities to seal minor cuts and bruises, 
and eventually, with a few years of practice, bullet holes.

If there are limits they are unknown at this time. Several 
other subjects died in the process before Section 8 learned 
that the subject absorbs the victim's wounds. Why this
 happens is still classified. 

Orion often gets the uncontrollable ability to heal the inner hurt of people. While dragging out 
the physical pain, she seems to take each sin of the victim and make it her own. Often Orion is 
haunted by these visions...

History:

Orion was born in the Amazonian region of South America. She grew up in a remote village, far 
away from any towns or cities. She grew up and had a fairly normal family life.

Everything changed for her on her 18th birthday when she was attacked in the jungle by a jaguar. The 
wounds almost proved fatal but Orion always had an idominable strength and will. She rallied back 
and managed to survive the attack although she now had parallel sets of claw marks running down both 
shoulder blades. 

Later she learned that her parents, who she was raised to believe were dead, had sent a doctor out to 
treat her during her delirium. Orion confused and angry demanded to know why she hadn't been told sooner. Her foster parents gave her pitying glances but refused to tell her. That night she left the village and headed northeast where she knew other people resided. She walked many miles and 
contracted a fever during her trek. She passed out and when she awoke she was in a hospital and saw 
concerned doctors whispering amongst themselves.

Orion spent several days in the hospital and was then taken into protective custody by the local 
government who tested her and determined that she had an above average intellect. After much dealing under the 

table, Orion was shipped off to one of the government facilities located on

one of the islands near Carson Bay to be studied and experimented on. 



One of the young doctors took pity on her and taught her to read, write and

do math. The two fell in love and made plans to escape. Their plans were

foiled when one of the other doctors who fancied himself in love with 

Orion, ratted them out. Orion's lover was killed during the escape attempt 

but Orion made it free.



Heartbroken she hitched rides all the way to the coast and then agreed to

work for her passage on a ship heading to a place called Carson-Bay. 

Orion hopes that she will be able to start a new life away from the pain 

and heartache of the old.
