This page lists all of the currently active Guild Master's - just like the news page and, in addition, it gives the Guild Master's the ego boost we all need - "Hey guys, I have a page!"
Do you want to be a Guild Master?
First you should know a Guild Master's duties:
A Guild Master does his or her best to be where the players need him or her most - combats, which require Guild Masters, take precedence.
A Guild Master takes a tally of player experience which he or her then turns in at the end of a week.
A Guild Master makes rulings which means knowing the rules is a must.
What can a Guild Master do?
First of all, Guild Master's are not Lords above all. They do get benefits though - otherwise why be a Guild Master?
1: A Guild Master's character which is portrayed as being a working member of the Tradition has the ability to Instantly Teleport anywhere a Tradition Member is so that their character can also get Experience. If two Guild Masters are not present though they have to submit the text of what happened if they want to get experience.
2: Guild Masters can create Non-Player Characters and kill you with them. Generally speaking Non-Player-Characters are used to enliven combat, further a storyline, provide a hurdle to overcome etc - a Guild Master who creates a War-God Non-plaer-Character and smites you with him should be reported, along with a text of the event.
3: Guild Masters can hold tournaments and give out bonus experience to the winner - from 1-30 experience and can hold them once a week.
4: Guild Masters can determine tournaments, challenges and battles between players and NPCs to be Fatal - meaning to the death. In just player-verses-player combat the players decide whether or not to kill each other.
5: Get awarded monthly for the best Guild Master - decided by the web-master and perhaps a deciding panel of players (not certain yet)
6: Last but not least, Guild Masters get an additional 2 experience a day for being active that day. If you, as a Guild Master, are called upon to do anything, make rulings or watch role play and don't feel like playing you default get 2 experience for that day. However, this means if you do play that day, unless you just want to default down to 2 experience, you do not get that - you can submit a text of your role play and get more. *Submit Texts to the web-master* This doesn't mean a Guild Master gets 2 experience every day - only those that he is active helping the community.
How do I become a Guild Master:
That's a matter in consideration, but here are some criteria I would be looking for:
1: Paragraph Role Players.
2: Knowledge of the Rules.
3: Commitment to the Tradition.
4: How often you are on.
5: Make-Me-Feel-Goodness-To-Know-You-Nessnessness.
