The Argo is always looking for new crewmembers. If you are interested in joining the ranks of the Argonauts, just write me at iNomad47@netscape.net, following the instructions below. Any position marked **AVAILABLE** on the Crew Manifest is open.
By applying to the Argo, you are agreeing to follow all rules of the ship and the Bravo Fleet RPG (click on the above link). We suggest you familiarize yourself with them before you apply.
Character Name
Character Race
Character Sex
Character Age
E-mail Address
RPG Experience (list references, if available)
Any other contact info, ie. instant messanger screen names
Full Character Bio: While you don't have to write up a character bio to be accepted, it's generally a good idea as it helps your crewmates understand just what it is that makes your character tick. A full character bio generally includes the following information:
Physical Characteristics
Sample Post: While again, you are not required to write a sample post to be admitted, this does help me with knowing what kind of a simmer you are. Sample posts should follow the Bravo Fleet standard posting form and be subject to certain restrictions (for more information, try here), but other than that can be about whatever your heart desires. Also, the longer, the better. (I can just see myself getting this 600-page novel in the mail with this little note saying, "You asked for it!" Please don't do that to me.) Just tag the post and/or your character bio onto the end of your application.
We'll process your application and you'll get a reply back as soon as we can manage.
IMPORTANT:
If you are new to Bravo Fleet, you are required to attend and graduate the BF Cadet Academy (apply here). You may, however, participate in the sim while you are attending the Academy, with special permission from the command staff. You'll have to send me a sample post to evaluate, and be CERTAIN you are familiar with the rules beforehand. Just follow basic standards of politeness—don't kill anyone, don't start a new mission without checking with me, etc.—and you shouldn't have any problems with us or the Academy.
