In appearance, Renegade Dwarves are similar to their lawful cousins. Their skin has a slightly greyish tinge, and instead of the drab colours (brown, grey, and dark greens) that the Dwarves, Renegades almost without exception wear black. Even their armour is black-enamelled and tinted.
In abilities Renegade Dwarves are similar to Dwarves. They are of short stature, and prefer weapons that are suited to them like Battleaxes and warhammers. They can only wear armour that has been specially designed and tailored for them.
Renegade Dwarves have little sense of honour, unlike their cousins, and often participate in marauding bands. They tend to work well with Evil-aligned humans, who share their same cunning and brutality. A Renegade Dwarf would think nothing of torturing a prisoner to gain information, or simply fun.
Renegade Dwarves tend to live underground, in huge interlinking tunnels and warrens. In past times tunnels have run into the caverns of Kabal Tiranduaas, and as the two races have no love for each other, bitter war ensues, sometimes without the authorities having any knowledge of it. Eventually however one or other ruling faction will step in, and tunnels will be blocked up.
Renegade Dwarven adventurers can all see in the dark perfectly, as can Dark Elves.
Role-playing:
Silent and gruff. Speak only when necessary. Brutal and cruel.
Advantages - bonuses to constitution. Can see underground.
Disadvantages - penalties to dexterity and speed.
Specialized Racial Class - Fighter.
