The following is a list of the most powerful magi of their sphere known on Telandron, and all details known about them:

Valayan Moonchaser - human magus of the Heavens sphere. A popular figure of human legend, he has a habit of turning up whenever he is needed the most, and usually has a great effect on the outcome of the situation; though he will only intervene in cases of the highest importance. Thought to be the only human magus powerful enough to contest with Khargar Dror, the High Priest of Nagharos.

Arian Quicksilver - elven spellweaver of the Air sphere. The most senior spellweaver of the Elves, he dwells with the largest elven tribe in the Forest of Spiders. Arian Quicksilver works hard to uphold the neutral stance the elves hold between human nations; he feels that should the elves come down on either side it will lead to the dwindling race's eventual destruction.

Khargar Dror - human magus/priest of the Death sphere. The High Priest of Nagharos. Dwells in the heart of Death's Rock around the Altar of Nagharos, upon which he performs many gruesome sacrifices to increase the fear and obedience the general populace have for him. Extremely powerful; it was he and his acolytes who were the main driving force behind the consolidation of Kul into the powerful nation it is today.

Tyran F'aldran - human magus of the Spirit sphere. The only known member of the conclave of Urgak, he is skilled in manipulation and interrogation. Thought to have risen from a relatively low station in life due to his powers, nothing else about him is known.

Rarr Iybel - human magus of the Fire sphere. One of the ArchYandrite's unofficial advsisers, Rarr is nearing fifty years of age, but is still vigorous. Belying the violence of the object of his mageskill, his advice is usually towards a cautious, pacifistic nature. He is the head of the Fire Order in the Colleges of Magic.

Jyrr Stormbringer - half-elven magus of the Water sphere. Commonly thought to be violently opposed to Rarr Iybel, the two are actually good friends, though they often disagree about methods. Iybel's opposite as leader of the Water Order in the Colleges of Magic of Al Voyen, his faction maintains a friendly rivalry with the Fire Order.

Dweor Tamgrim - dwarven magus of the Earth sphere. One of the few known Dwarf magi or sorcerers, Dweor lives in the sacred home of Dwarves in the Northern Mountains - Tormgar. He is First Adviser to the High Dwarven Lord of Tormgar, a powerful and commanding figure in the North.
