Stalkers have the unique ability to "tame" monsters, allowing them to take monsters under their control. They have limited power over them but still the monster follows them and attacks when told to attack. Also rangers can stalk monsters or other players. A ranger is best equipped with a scarab blade, barbarian skins/blood fiend skins, mask of valest and heaven shield.
Kiro's comments: While they're one of the most fun classes to play they're also the most worthless. They have very poor attack power and they can only tame 5 monsters at a time. They're excellent one-a-day killers, however, and I have tried to (rather unsuccessfully) pk with them, though I think it could work.
Aramoug's comments: Stalkers are probably one of the most fun classes to play but they dont do much in moshes, duels, or TGC. They arent that great in PvP but against monsters they are probably the best class. There are a few ways to get around the max of 5 monsters tamed at once, but I wont tell what they are. =P With enough monsters tamed at once, they have infinite potential as killers. And if you tame thiefs they steal gold and give it to you! Its fun to tame like 20 thiefs and leave them outside city gates then everytime someone walks by: ==> A thief just gave you 50 gold! Very fun to play, I love them.
Mortis's comments: I don't own one, don't know all that much about them. Kiro's point about them being good one-a-day killers is something you should take notice of. I know that to be true, and it's something you should keep in mind if you want to have a stalker.
Zildjian's comments: Rangers are an extremely fun class to play, and a good relief from the fighting classes. Although not powerful themselves, their ability to tame makes them what they are. Taming monsters and terrorizing players is enough to play them, although I do wish they would have a widened variety of talents.
Opal's Comments: leveling a ranger for awhile can be fun cause u get to play around until u realize ur hardly accomplishing anything so it takes longer than u think. stalkers are rare for a reason not very powerful by themselves they do worse damage than a cavalier and have less armor. it is fun to run around with a group of high lvled monsters and a priest cause u can pick on whoever. but since monsters can be taken everywhere it kinda limits rangers even more. stalkers are mostly just a novelty item or play toy
Sertzer's comment: Stalkers are a good class. While some people feel they are the worst class in the game, they do not know how to use a stalker. They are great for getting one-a-days. Sometimes creatures are not able to be tamed, which makes the stalker fairly useless. Stalkers can be good if used in the correct way.
