Clerics are the essentials of any good party. They can cast many spells and their Vanos, which can heal for 400+, is unmatched by any healing spell in the game. They also have the ability to bless (like paladins) their divinity on weapons and armor. Their other ability is SoulBind, which prevents you from dropping your items when you die. They're best equipped with hammer of destruction, diamond armor, mask of valest and heavens shield.
Kiro's comments: I've never had a priest =( However, I've been on lots of my friends' and they're awesome. They're damned tanks! For the most part, the only way you can get rid of them is by one rounding them or having a big group gang up on one. Their spell lifetap gets alright once you start having BIG parties (8+) but otherwise it's not worth it. Vanos is easily the best spell in the game, and makes clerics as good as they are (and worth the 270mil exp)
Aramoug's comments: Preists are a necessity no matter what you're doing. Leveling, getting oneadays, moshes, quests, anything. Vanos for 400+ per action is INSANE. Priests just dont die. If you dont already have one, I strongly suggest you get one. RoK becomes soooo much easier once you get a priest. They are THE most useful class overall.
Mortis's comments: I always like to keep a priest with me. They are tanks, and are essential to good parties in moshes. The only real way to get rid of one is to have a slayer one round it, or like Kiro suggested, have you and all your friends beat one down. The next best way is to wait for one to run out of magic...which will be quite a while. Ditto to what Kiro said, vanos is easily the best spell in the game so far.
Zildjian's comments: I don't know how a party could survive without one of these. A great leveling tool, and a huge help in EVERY battle you fight. They can be very frustrating to kill, and they keep the group alive. I don't think it is possible to last in RoK without access to one of these.
Opal's Comments: i like priests a lot i have one and he kicks some ass. good armor and god like healing abilities always keep a free action when fighting someone and u'll probably never die of course u'll probably never kill the other person within an hr either but oh well. priests are a must have crit i believe they r good when leveling and needed when going for one a days. and its only 270million not that much exp for such a good thing.
Sertzer's comments: I am the master priest. Most of the time I can heal people before they can ask for a heal. Priests are the most needed class in the game. Healing is provided at a cheap cost by this class. The first character you need to level is a priest. The best way to level it is to have another character attack a monster and then heal it with the cleric. If you ever need a heal ask me :)
