Clan of Finfeas
The griffon riders are better
known as the Clan of Finfeas, a clan of elves that is known for their great
mastery of training griffons. Clan Finfeas is very solatiry, and more often
then not keeps to themselves. They live two to three days journey outside
of Sylvanhyme, up in the mountains. The exsact location of their village is
unknown and even if someone does know of it, it is an honored secret among
elves. Only members of the clan have be trained as griffon riders, but on
the very rare ocurance that a non-member goes out of their way to help the
clan and prove that they are pure of heart, they are granted membership in
the clan and tought the ways of griffon riding.

Class Features:
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Ravens gain no
proficiency in any armor or weapon. Note that armor check penalties of armor
heavier than leather apply to the skills Balance, Climb, Escape Artist,
Hide, Jump, Move Silently, Pick Pocket, and Tumble.
Griffon Mount: When a character gains his
first level of Griffon Rider he receives his giffon mount. This mount is of
the highest quility of its speices, all roll for hit points are no less
then a 5 on a d10, making the minuim HP 56. All rolls lower then a 5 are
moved up to 5 hit points. (*Speical Note to Paladins, that this mount may
be taken as you Special mount, and you sell receive all the bonus of that
Paladin feature. Also in determaning those bonuses you add you Paladin
levels and you Griffon Rider levels together. For Example… Justinian, a 8th
level Paladin and a 2nd level Griffon Rider is 10th
level when determaning mount bonuses)
Bonus Feat: This feat may be taken from any
Feat in the General list. Also these feats may be used on the Griffon. For
example Weapon Focus (Bite), or Initiative bonus
Below are bonuses that are granted to not only the Rider
but his mount as well. They are beginning to trust one another in the heat
of battle, and rely on each other to do their jobs. All three of these
bonuses only apply when the rider is mounted on his griffon and air-born.
Air-Combat
Bonus: The air combat bonus applies
to both the rider and his griffon for attack bonuses.
Speed
Increase: This is a bonus more for
the Griffon then the rider, but is useful to both. The griffon has become
so intune with the way its master rides that the creature actually increase
in speed. This takes the griffons Fly speed from 80 feet to 120 feet. *Note
that this does not change the creature ground movement speed
AC
Bonus: The griffon and his master
become so battle savy that they are all most as one in combat. Granting the
both of them a +4 AC bonus
