REIS GUILLERMES

Level 1 Gnome Cleric

Reis was born under strange auspices. On the eve of his birth a strong storm rolled over his village, the likes of which were very rare. This storm brought with it hail and lightning, far more than any storm this particular area had ever seen. The lighting struck all over on the hills in which he was being born. Those caught in the storm would later report that they had heard what they believed to be laughter all throughout the storm. In addition careful observers noted an oddly draconic figure circling in the skies blocking view of the moon. This was a terrible time for the village, but still a time of happiness for the Guillermes for they had a new son. However this was an omen, neither bad nor good, just an omen. Reis was heavily into prankstering, even for a gnome. It wasn't that amusing to him, however he liked to amuse his companions even though he thought it beneath himself to pull such tricks. Growing up he didn't enjoy his seniors experiments and illusions, so he occupied his time by practicing his martial skills. When he was 23, the largest storm in 23 years hit the hilly village. Upon the storm rode a dark figure on a black dragon of average size.

This figure came down upon the village demanding Reis. This hooded man of human size took the boy and flew off carrying the storm with him. It turned out this man had watched the boy since his birth. The man trained him in the use of divinity to gain power, however the man underestimated Reis' strong will. He could not turn the boy to his deity, the boy became so disillusioned with the whole religious concept that he forsook his religious beliefs all together. The man was furious and sent the boy away not to return. Since then he has been on his own and uses the powers he has gained in his own fashion.
