Each type of kat has magical powers called abilities. They are powers that allow the kats to do extraordinary things. Anything from turning into sand, to flying, to moving super fast. Each type of kat has abilities that range in a certain area. For example Sky Kat abilities run in the categories of weather, air, and lightning. There is also a section known at the All Kat Abilities section. In there runs a list of abilities that any type of kat can have. Those range into all categories. On each page is a note about abilities, but in case you missed them: Kats of any type can have many different types of abilities. These are abilities that any kat can have. They range from the simple, to the complex. There are my types, but some are rare or uncommon. Also, kats can have only a certain number of abilities. We'll start with a Sky kit at Level 1. They can have up to 10 abilities, not counting the automatic ability or the automatic color ability they receive. If you were to count those, the kit would have 12. With each level, a kat can gain up to two more abilities. Some kats only gain one or some none. It depends on the kat, and its player. By the time a kat is a Level 8, they can have up to 24 abilities. With half + breeds it is different. They receive twice as many abilities, since they are two breeds. So instead of having the usual 10 when you are a kit, you get 20. By the stage of Level 8 if you are a half breed you will have 48. If your a tri-breed you triple the number, and so on. A note about Teknikat abilities. Teknikat abilities take energy to use. Things like Razor Claws only uses a little energy, to abilities like Healing Touch or Shield tend to take more energy. A kat can fight for hours on end and not get tired, but they have to use their abilities wisely, conserving energy and being careful.
