| Here
are the OOC things to do during week one:
Change your outfit
desc to white shirt, black pants and orange vest. (Gag!I know!)
This is the weyrling uniform. Have fun with it. Gripe about it
(oh,btw, the orange dye runs). Weyrlings in the past have been
very creative how they spruce up the uniform to make it "livable".
You will also need to change your knot. You can do it in your
desc or use @jewelry me is "knot
desc"... A knot desc should read something like
this..."wears the knot of an Istan Weyrling, orange and black
threaded through with (color of lifemate).
Work on pro's!!! (read
Dragon Speech). This is the
week to learn how to make your dragon talk and pose telepathically.
You should also be on the dragon channel lings and practicing
there. Ask a WLM for help.
That's what we're here for!"
Couches: Write an @desc
for your own couch (remember, it's your lifemate's.. not your
own) and put it to it! If you have any trouble finding help files
(if you need them), let me know and I might just help you out.
I'll be picking these up for grades ;D *cackles!*
Type @sethome
while in your couch. To set your dragons home do the following:
@unlink
dragon#
@link
dragon#=Here (while in your couch)
Here is the IC stuff
to do during the first week:
Oil your dragon often!
You do that by using a large paddle to smear the thick oil over
their hide and then rub it in with your fingers or a rag. With
their rapid growth they are probably itchy! And complaining alot.
Feed your dragon from
the meat trays in the barracks. They aren't ready to hunt yet.
Maybe you get confused and think their hungerpains are your own
and find yourself eating ravenously in the lc! Or maybe when your
dragon eats you get the taste of raw meat in your mouth (Yuk!).
Sorting out this who is me and who is my dragon is fun rp this
week.
You still have chores...gripe,
gripe. Refilling oil barrels, keeping the meat trays replenished,
shoveling dragon doo.....
Salute, salute, salute!!
Any rider you meet (Istan or Fortian). Just once. When you come
into the room or they come into the room. No need to do it when
they leave or you leave. It's a greeting kind of thing. Some riders
will tell you not to but do it anyway. You have your orders!
Your first lesson will
cover the Rules and Regulations of Weyrlinghood
as well as an introduction to Firestone.
Follow these links for further information.
Have fun! That's what
this game is all about. The WLM's are here to assist you. Call on
us often with lots of questions...that's rp for us, too! |
