Rules
1) Everyone is allowed two characters. If you're playing a single character, it can
be your own creation; if you're playing two characters, one HAS to be an LJS
character. I'm thinking of redoing this rule, but in the meantime, it holds.
2)
One rule I’m very strict about: half-breeds are allowed, but only to a certain
extent. By that I mean that you can be vamp-shifter, or witch-human. You can NOT
be half-vampire with a dash of shifter, Old Soul and witch in you. I feel that
the amount of power these hybrids have can sometimes end up quite ridiculous,
annoying and completely unbelievable, as well as unfair to the rest of the
players. Similarly, no dragon shifters are allowed. If you want to show power,
by all means, play up your abilities. However, keep to the powers of your own
species; shapeshifters might be able to hear a telepathic message aimed at them,
but they cannot ‘path back!
3)
If you feel that your LJS character seems too dull for words, he/she may have
additional abilities (for example fighting skills). As long as it’s
reasonable, I’ll accept it. Just remember that all these powers and abilities
don’t really matter in the RPG or a fight scene; it’s how you play your
character that ultimately counts.
4) All
posts should begin with the title, followed by the names of the other
people you're talking to. For example:
The
Kidnapping (Jacob, Jayden, Jyira).
I’m
not too strict on this, but I’d like the rule followed because it makes it
easier for players to identify their plot.
5)
Posts should ALL be written in the past tense, I’m not fond of people who post
in the present tense; it disrupts the flow of the RPG. And please follow the
time period: if the players are sneaking around in the dead of night, please
don't mention the bright sun on your face. If you're not sure what time of the
day it is, then play safe and don't mention it.
6)
Creativity and new ideas are not just encouraged, they're applauded. If
you've got a plot you want to play, by all means post it on the list under the
title OOC: New Plot. But if you're looking for a plot, email me. Please
don't email the whole list.
7) If
you have any complaints, I will hear them. No flaming, no attacking the other
person directly. If I feel the person has done something wrong, he/she will be
dealt with accordingly. However, if you have already sent a lengthy email
telling him/her about the mistake, you will be dealt with too.
8)
Lastly, if you have the slightest doubt, question, suggestion or complaint, MAIL
ME. You can find my email address – silon@angelfire.com
- all over this webpage, and believe me, it’s there for a reason. I will reply
to your emails as soon as possible.
