Plots of a Not So Evil Mind

Plots of a Not So Evil Mind:

She needed to die. It was that plain and simple. She needed someone to smite her. Someone that would take a lightening bolt, like Zeus or something, and strike her down where she stood. Maybe a wild herd of elephants could mow her down in the middle of time square. Yeah and no one would be the wiser cause who would give a rat's ass about her. People would be too busy worrying about the elephants and if they stubbed their toes while trampling some skanky bitch.

Martin tapped his pen very hard on the big table that they all sat around for Jack's usual update and information meetings. Martin remembered when it had been a big mahogany thing. Martin wasn't even sure what it was now only that it was serving its purpose as a decoy for Martin's mind.

Because watching the new girl pawing over Danny... not something he liked to see so early in the morning and without a decent cup of coffee. It wasn't that she was pawing per se. She wasn't invading Danny's personal space like Danny liked to do to Martin. She wasn't even really flirting with him, but Martin would have to be the densest person in existence if he didn't see the way they looked at each other... the way they seemed to communicate with each other. The way Martin wanted to smack her every time she walked into a room.

"Danny... Elena. You two will be talking to the kids parents. Try to find out if there was anything weird going on with him. If he hung out with the wrong crowd. That kind of thing." Jack said in his usual gruff tone.

Martin was glad he had a pen in his hand rather than a pencil because he was sure that had he had a pencil it would have snapped into two. Martin watched as Elena sent Danny some sort of secret glance and Danny took on that oblivious look he was getting really good at.

It wasn't fair. Only one of them was allowed to be oblivious at one time and Martin usually liked to be the one to call dibs on that. Danny had explained his 'baggage' with Elena before and though Martin was sure it sounded very authentic, he still couldn't help the jealousy that coursed through his veins.

"Fitzie, sweetie, honey, sugarpie, dumpling, baby, one and only owner of my heart, you gotta let it go. Elena and I had nothing together. Seriously, she just kind of screw over one of my friends and I never really liked her in the first place." Danny said.

Martin scrunched his nose up in distaste. He hated it when Danny resorted to the queasy pet names. Sure he could stand for Fitzie, but only because Fitzie wasn't terrible. Every once in awhile he'd let Danny get away with baby, but anything else was very rare. Very rare.

"And you never gave her any vibes that you were interested in her or anything?" Martin asked.

"Well if you call cursing her out in Spanish interest..."

"It's just that... she's always... around you."

"Martin, I stood idly by when you and Sam had your little thing..."

"You call that idly... and are you saying that you want to have a little thing with Elena?" Martin said in a somewhat paranoid tone.

"What I'm saying or at least trying to say is that I was never as jealous as you're acting right now." Danny said.

"Well excuse me if I'm just a little worried that some... some... new girl is trying to hone in on my boyfriend... a boyfriend I've only had for a few months now." Martin said and he wondered if he sounded as much like a girl in Danny's ears as he did in his own.

Danny smiled and sauntered, because Danny was either strutting or gliding or sauntering, but never just plain walking, over to Martin. He sighed as he wrapped his arms tightly around Martin's waist and rested his head on Martin's shoulder. Martin leaned into Danny, cane temporarily not needed. Danny turned his head and whispered softly into Martin's ear.

"I'm not going anywhere Martin. I like to think you believe me when I say that." Danny said.

Martin sighed suddenly feeling a little bit deflated and out of fight. Danny was obviously right. He'd gone through the whole history in intimate detail for Martin's benefit when it was clear that the only thing Danny wanted to do was throw Martin down on their bed and have his way with him. Even though that wasn't even really an option considering Martin couldn't do that stuff for at least another four weeks. Damn gun shot wounds.

"I know. She just... gets on my nerves." Martin said.

At that point Danny couldn't help laughing just a little bit at Martin's behavior. Martin would have been affronted if he didn't actually think he was being a little bit stubborn.

"You're being childish."

"You know how much I hate being called childish." Martin grumbled.

"Well, then don't act childish." Danny said as he lifted his head to look at Martin.

He smiled softly and kissed Martin lightly on the lips. It hadn't exactly been the best way to end their conversation. Martin's insecurities had yet to been fully dealt with, but at that moment it didn't really matter.

But now Martin was sitting in his chair at the conference table, the one that was right next to Danny's because that was his seat. He'd seen the new girl eyeing it and he'd given her his best glare, which he'd been told was very scary... or well he'd told himself it was very scary. Danny said it looked like he was constipated.

It had gotten the job done. She took a seat next to Sam and was quiet throughout the whole meeting something Martin was eternally grateful for. But now, Jack was pairing Danny and Elena up together and okay Martin knew it was partially his fault. The first case that Jack allowed Martin and Danny to work together after the shooting Martin and Danny had gotten a little... distracted. The only reason they weren't suspended for it was because they just happened to stumble upon their missing person while they were... distracted.

But that didn't mean Jack was going to pair them up together again. Sure he was glad that Martin wasn't trying to go after Sam anymore and he was glad that Danny was happy and all, but he wasn't about to let them get all distracted again.

Martin watched as Danny and Elena got up and got ready to go. He had no idea who he was working with or where they were going. He figured someone would clue him into it so he just sat, eye glaring holes in the back of Elena's head.

"You hate her."

Martin looked up to see Viv standing next to him. She had one of those Viv self-satisfied smirks that said she knew everything and anything that went on in the office.

"I don't... hate her."

This was Viv's 'please don't insult my intelligence' look or more commonly know as her 'bitch, please' look. Martin hated that she just had to know everything. It must be that mother thing.

"Martin, you hate her." Viv said.

"Well it's not like I hate her. I mean... I just dislike her immensely."

"Doesn't seem like she and Danny are getting overly friendly. They have a past. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't seem like it's something you should be worrying about."

"If she's not latching onto Danny, she's latching on to Jack."

"So you don't like the way she treats you like an invalid?"

"I'm not an invalid. It would be nice to know that other people knew this."

"So it's a combination of the fact that she latches onto Danny and the fact that she treats you like you were made of glass."

"Precisely."

"But you don't hate her at all." Viv said in that tone that meant she didn't believe a word Martin was saying.

Martin grumbled as he hobbled out of his seat and to his feet. He was getting better at doing things. He almost didn't need the cane, but Danny had kept insisting that he kept it for at least a little while longer than the doctor had said to.

Martin had wanted to grumble at him and scream, but Danny put on his best smile and even used the puppy dog eyes and there was no way Martin could have stayed mad at him. Damn Danny and his puppy dog eyes.

"Can we just go do our jobs."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It had been a dead end. Not that Martin had expected it to be a dead end. One second in the guy's presence and he knew that their missing person had nothing to do with the guy. They had been friends way back when and because the poor soul didn't want his parents to know just how utterly pathetic his life had become he used the guy as a front friend. Martin remembered front friends very well. In fact he thought he still might have one or two to through Victor and his mother off of the scent.

They had gotten back to the office, Viv totally pissed off that Jack had sent her on yet another easy assignment and Martin feeling like his stomach was about to explode with hunger. He'd been back for a few weeks now after all and his stomach was getting back to where it used to be. He was starving and if he knew Danny right which he was pretty positive he did, Danny had saved him half of a sandwich. Preferably something with turkey.

So imagine Martin's surprise when he found Elena sitting next to Danny at the conference table suit jacket off as she leaned over Danny and reached for Martin's half of Danny's sandwich. Martin's fist clenched hard on his cane and he thought he heard himself growl. He watched as she took a big bite of his sandwich and started to chew, big smile on her face. Watched as Danny smiled at her and then went back to his paperwork.

Martin couldn't take it. He hobbled as best he could over to the conference table and, before Miss New Girl could take another bite of his sandwich, he snatched it from her hands.

"Hey." She said in her oh so stupid accent that Martin wanted to pull out all her brown hair for.

"MINE!" Martin said or well practically yelled.

"I'm sorry, Martin. Danny said that he..."

"I never actually said that she could have it Martin. I knew you'd want..."

"Well you didn't exactly say no. And what's the big deal about a sandwich?"

It was clear that she didn't know about the importance of the sandwich, but Martin doubted that that would have made her keep her skanky mitts off of Martin's sandwich.

"The big deal?! You don't know what the big deal is?" Martin said fully aware that he was starting to get a little to screechy.

"Martin, hun, calm down."

Somehow Danny had sat up and was in front of Martin, hands firmly on Martin's forearms.

"Clearly I stepped into something that I wasn't supposed to, but Danny was just being friendly by offering me his other half of the sandwich because I was hungry."

"Bitch please! Just back your skanky ho ass up and stay away from my boyfriend." Martin said.

The minute the words left his mouth was the minute he regretted them. He felt everyone's eyes on him. He saw as Elena's eyes went as wide as she began to sputter over her words. Martin was almost happy to see her looking so shocked. He would have been completely happy if he hadn't just committed career suicide.

"Oh god I didn't just say that." Martin whispered.

"You kind of did, Fitzie." Danny said smirking slightly.

Martin pushed him away. Right now wasn't the time for Danny's smirking. The whole office watched as he limped as fast as he could to the elevator. He'd seen Danny try and follow Martin, his big stopped because of Jack and Sam and Viv and Elena. Martin just wanted to get as far away from the office as possible. He didn't care if Jack called up and fired him on the spot. He just needed to get away.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Martin felt miserable. He hadn't answered the phone since he got home. He knew that most of the calls had to have come from the office. There had been so many that he had just decided to take his phone of the hook. Not exactly the best thing to do if he wanted to keep his job, but he would rather not hear Jack yell at him for improper conduct.

He'd said bitch in the office. He'd said skanky in the office. He'd said ass in the office. He'd called someone all those names... in the office. Martin felt like throwing up.

"How did I just now that you were going to be at home wearing baggy sweats and eating in front of the television."

Martin looked up to see Danny standing in the hallway that led to his front door, hands on his hips, tie loosely undone. Martin had conflicting feelings. For one he wanted to slap Danny for acting so smug and for another Danny came in to his apartment looking all disheveled and hot and Martin wanted nothing more than to walk over to him and throw Danny into his bedroom.

"So... am I fired? Was Jack spitting nails? Was Viv in a total tizzy? Did Sam seem at all pleased? Did Elena hopefully put in a transfer to Alaska?" Martin asked.

Danny snickered at that and sat down next to Martin, pulling him as close as possible in as gentle a way as possible.

"Jack wasn't too mad. He did give you a few days off. He said if I needed a few days off as well that they were mine. In fact I think he almost demanded it what with you acting crazy and me not acting much better. Viv just said she knew and that it was my fault for not dealing with your jealousies in the first place. Sam was snickering. She said she's never heard you curse before." Danny said place a small kiss on Martin's forehead.

His fingers began to card through Martin's hair and Martin couldn't help it if he leaned in a bit. Danny had such lovely fingers.

"And what about Elena?" Martin asked.

Danny sighed, fingers still carding through Martin's light brown hair. It had been a long time since he and Danny had had time to relax.

"She was a little... werided out. She said she didn't think she was doing anything wrong. You gotta know I didn't offer her that sandwich Martin. She just took it. Really she did. She said she hopes that you guys can still work together despite your episode." Danny said.

"You know I thought about calling my dad. I thought about being a petulant little kid and calling my daddy to tell him that some girl was trying to steal my boyfriend and that he needed to transfer her." Martin said.

"And you didn't because?"

"Well, it was already too much of a shock that I was dating a guy. They like you Danny, but I don't think they like you that much. Although Victor might have actually done it in some sort of weird 'want to make it up to you' kind of way." Martin said.

"Elena isn't trying to take you away from me Martin. Why is it that when I'm finally comfortable with us being together you freak out?"

"I just... I wanted you so badly for so long and I did that stupid thing with Sam and I know you set her straight and all that, but I guess I think... I mean... it would only be..."

"I'm not going to be some petulant kid who has to fight fire with fire Martin. Sam happened before we were together remember. You came to your senses and realized you wanted to be with me. We've been together for a few months now. You've seen me at some of my worst times here, Fitzie. I don't think there's been a time in the last almost four years that I haven't wanted you."

"Well thank you, Danny. Now I feel like a complete ass. Why do you gotta sweet talk?" Martin grumbled.

"Hey remember when we got into this whole thing together. You said and I quote 'This isn't a rebound thing, Danny. This is the really thing'. You were the sweet talker first." Danny said.

"Well, yeah, I guess so. God I can't believe I said skanky ass ho. I don't even know where that came from."

"Obviously a place deep inside you because Sam's right. I've never really heard you cuss before."

"She just... she just got me so mad." Martin said.

"I had noticed. Though I wasn't sure if you were asserting ownership over the sandwich of me." Danny said with a smile.

"Could we say it was both and just be done with it."

"Hmm... I kind of liked it. You know I was expecting you to pound your fists on your chest or throw me over your shoulder cavemen style."

Martin frowned. He'd never been able to throw Danny over his shoulder before, but now he really couldn't. Not that the idea didn't have merit.

"What if I wanted to throw you over my shoulder?" Martin whispered.

Danny's fingers stopped running through Martin's hair. Martin could feel him stiffen and he knew Danny was still a bit touchy about having sex with Martin. It had been ten weeks since Martin had been shot and Danny was still a little nervous. The doctor had given the okay three weeks ago and that was a conversation Martin never envisioned having with a doctor.

'Excuse me Sir. When can I have sex with my hot Cuban boyfriend?' was not something Martin ever wanted to utter... ever. He'd been all but hyperventilating when he had gotten up the courage to just make a suggestive comment about it.

Luckily the doctor wasn't dense and took Martin's hint, smirked slightly and told him that since he was doing good on the crutches it was okay. All signs go and yet Danny was still resorting to hand jobs and blow jobs with the occasional fingering.

Not that Martin didn't love whatever attention Danny was willing to give him. He'd be stupid to pass up a Danny blow job, but he wanted more. There had been at least four weeks where he was in the hospital under their intense scrutiny and two weeks after that where he needed to take it easy.

He hadn't had proper sex in the last ten weeks and no sex for at least six of those weeks. A person had needs and when they were sleeping next to Danny Taylor for a good portion of those weeks it did not help tame the one eyed monster.

"Martin I don't..."

"Danny I really don't like you treating me like I'm going to break at any second. Think of it as reassuring me that you like me." Martin said with a smile.

He turned in Danny's arms to rest practically on top of him and stare into Danny's eyes. He watched as Danny gulped and took a deep breath.

"I don't just like you Martin."

"That right?"

"Yeah... I think I love your stress eating bad suit wearing color uncoordinated ass." Danny said.

"You know if you were shooting for romantic there, Taylor, you just barely missed the mark."

"I was going for us Martin."

"Well in that case I love your issue having has to saunter and flirt with everything while looking good ass too." Martin said.

"I don't flirt with everything." Danny said pouting.

"That's up for debate, but since we've traded the I love you's don't you think it's time to stop stalling on the sex."

"Oh I see. This was all just a ploy to get me to have sex with you."

"Danny if you don't want to have sex with me then there's something wrong with our relationship."

"I thought we weren't all about sex."

Martin rolled his eyes.

"We're not, but come on Danny it's been such a long time and you know I'm still feeling kind of insecure about the Elena thing."

"You are not going to use your freak out as an attempt to sleep with me."

"Can't I just say that I want you really, really bad and then take you to bad."

"Where's your sweet talking?"

"I'm putting it on the backburner because I'm really horny."

Though Martin and Danny had been dating for quite some time now, Martin's ears still kind of turned red when he talked about that stuff. At least it was better than Martin turning all red. Danny snickered at Martin's boldness and started running his fingers through Martin's hair again.

"I don't know. No foreplay whatsoever."

"Can't we just call these last couple of weeks foreplay?"

"Fitzie..."

"Danny... please."

Danny groaned and sighed.

"Okay, I know you can't pick me up so..." Danny let the sentence trail off as he gathered Martin up in his arms and started to carry him to their room.

"Hmmm... I could get used to being carried around you know."

"Well you better not because you aren't exactly a light weight."

Martin would have pouted at Danny for that comment, but decided, when Danny ever so gently laid Martin down on the bed, that it could wait until later. Much later.

He just lay there as Danny pulled off his clothes going ever so slowly that Martin almost screamed at him to hurry up. He was glad he had changed out of his suit. It definitely hurried things along. He watched as Danny scrambled to get out of his own clothes. It was much harder considering Danny was still in a suit.

It was almost like a little show just for Martin and Martin took in every second. Helped that Danny made everything look so erotic.

When Danny was fully undressed he climbed on top of Martin and began to kiss him. Long languid kisses that involved tongue and teeth and lips and Danny's hands kept roaming down Martin's sides and if felt like Danny was touching everywhere. Martin was too keyed up for the foreplay to last to long. It'd been way to long since Danny had fucked him. Had been too long since he'd felt Danny's cock pushing deep inside him, moving and feeling him like nothing else ever had.

Danny pulled away from the kiss and looked at Martin's face. His eyes were wide and almost all black and his lips were kiss swollen and Martin always loved seeing him like this. Danny's eyes trailed down and Martin knew he was looking at his gun shot wound scars. His fingers went to trail the one close to his heart. He could see the hurt in Danny's eyes just looking at it.

"Hey... I'm still here Danny."

"I know that."

"I'm not going anywhere."

"I know that."

"I'd really like it if you could fuck me now."

"I know that." Danny said with a smirk.

"Well what are you waiting for?" Martin said with a smile.

"Hmmm... it's not fucking now Martin. It's making love."

"Who cares what you call it as long as you're inside me in like five minutes."

"You know you're less romantic now that we've done the I love you thing." Danny said.

"Danny..."

"Fine, fine." Danny said as he reached over to the nightstand.

He pulled out the lube and condoms and placed them on the bed next to Martin. He uncapped the lube and put some on his fingers, fingers that hurriedly searched out Martin's entrance and Danny pushed them in, no real warning before and then he was moving them, stretching because it had been awhile and Martin knew Danny was trying to make this as comfortable and painless as possible.

Martin loved the feel of Danny's fingers inside of him, but he wanted Danny's cock and Danny seemed set on making sure Martin was absolutely comfortable before they got to that part.

"Danny... Danny please just do it already..."

"Very impatient of you."

"Please I need you Danny..."

"I'm still here. I'm not going anywhere." Danny whispered into Martin's ear.

He removed his fingers and went to grab the lube and condoms when Martin stopped him.

"Don't use the condoms." Martin gasped out.

Danny's eyes went as wide as saucers.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah... now hurry up and... make love to me." Martin said.

Danny nodded as he poured some lube onto his fingers. Martin watched as his eyes rolled back just a little as he spread the lube on his cock. Waited patiently as Danny finished doing what he was doing and waited until he felt Danny's cock pushing against his opening.

But Danny was going to slow and trying to be gentle and Martin wasn't having that. Martin wrapped his legs around Danny's waist and pushed him inside with one strong thrust. Danny let out a yelp and Martin couldn't help but moan at the feeling. It had been way too long since they'd been like this.

"Fuck Martin..."

"Come on, Danny... move please..."

Martin knew by using that voice Danny would do anything he wanted him to and he was right. Danny bit his lip as he started to pound into Martin, hands clenching Martin's hips and Danny was trying to be slow and sweet about it, but Martin kept thrusting back and clenching around Danny so tight that Danny couldn't keep up the slow sweet thing.

Martin felt as Danny pushed into him, harder and faster and all erratic like he couldn't help but get wild when he was around Martin and Martin loved it when Danny got liked that. Loved the feel of Danny's hard hot cock pushing inside of him and angling to hit that special spot inside Martin and all Martin could do was scream out in pleasure as Danny kept thrusting. He loved the look on Danny's face, eyes tightly closed lip being bitten so hard Martin was surprised there wasn't any blood.

"Danny... right there... Danny please..."

"Martin... fuck... so good..."

He couldn't believe he doubted that Danny wanted this. He'd said so enough and Martin knew that he was just a little bit insecure that Danny had even wanted him... that Danny still wanted him because he limped and he wasn't exactly back to normal. He got pissy every once in awhile and he knew that Danny felt incredibly guilty every time he looked at Martin's cane.

But none of that really mattered because Danny was inside him and it had been such a long time and Martin still couldn't believe this all started because he called Elena a skanky ho ass.

Danny was muttering in English and Spanish and moaning and his thrust were all erratic and his hands were holding on tighter to Martin's hips.

"Martin... oh Martin..."

Danny's hand went to stroke Martin's cock and Martin could feel himself losing it. losing himself in his orgasm and he couldn't really remember it being that intense. He came, cum coating Danny's hand and his chest and Danny followed close behind litany of Spanish words falling from his lips as his spilled his cum inside Martin and he collapsed on top of Martin his breathing coming in pants.

It took many minutes before both of them were breathing properly and coming down from their highs.

And when the finally came down, Danny started laughing.

"What?" Martin asked.

"Nothing, it's just hilarious that you called Elena a skanky ho ass. You should have seen the look on your face when you realized that you'd done that." Danny said as he moved off of Martin.

He moved to his side of the bed before turning to spoon Martin's back.

"Can we not talk about Elena when were in bed together naked?" Martin said voice full of discomfort.

"Whatever you want, Fitzie. I love you."

"Hmmm... love you too."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Martin and Danny returned to work bright and shiny a few days after the 'Sandwich Incident' as Danny kept calling it. Martin was feeling much better what with the few days off that he and Danny had spent in bed.

They'd avoided talking about the Adisa incident, but they had pretty much been avoiding it since it happened. They talked and Martin knew a storm was probably brewing, but he knew that Danny would be there for him and he'd be there for Danny.

"Hey."

Martin looked up to see Elena standing near him. Great. He really didn't want to deal with her when he was in such a good mood.

"Hey." Martin said curtly.

"Look I'm sorry for whatever misunderstanding there might have been. I don't want Danny in that way so you don't have to worry." She said.

Martin just grunted.

"If you're not going to at least make the effort..."

"Look I don't really like you that much. You're tolerable as long as you stay away from my boyfriend."

"I'm not intending on stealing him away."

"You couldn't even if you tried. Now... I'm going to get some coffee." Martin said standing up from his desk.

He didn't care that his exit was made less extraordinary because of his cane. He held his head up high and walked passed an outraged Elena to the coffeepot.
