Neighbours Update

Once upon a time two lost souls called Laura & Sian were wandering through the forest known as East Wood collecting mushrooms, when an evil pixie jumped out from behind a rock and startled them.

"AHA!" he said. "My name is Rumplesebskin and I'm going to capture you so you can make my website for me and I can go back to doing nothing. Hehe no one will find you in my secret hideaway in Gnore Wood."

And with that he cast a spell on them and they were whisked away to his dingy hole. Laura & Sian were dead scared but they did not give up hope.

Day after day they were forced to try to salvage Rumplesebskin's poor excuse for a web site. After their hard days work they were also forced to boost his ego before he took to the town to his favourite hang out to scare the poor maidens. All the time Laura & Sian were plotting their escape with cunning tricks and clever plans. Then one day their plans were finally ready and with the aid of a block of cheese, a piece of string and a screwdriver they escaped into the darkness that is known as Gnore Wood.

But all was not as easy as they anticipated for Rumplesebskin soon realised that they had gone, as he had not received any complements for at least half an hour. Using his magical powers Rumplesebskin was closing in on our two heroines and in an attempt to outwit him they began a climb to the summit of Mount Lie Berry. The going was tough but as they neared the top they saw a bright glowing light through the trees.

"What's that?" shouted Laura & Sian.
"But ahhhh, who is anyone?" came the reply.
"We are two lost souls trying to escape the pixie, Rumplesebskin."
"Do not be afraid. I am DJ Dave."
"Not the legendary guru DJ Dave?"
"Yes the very one."
"HURRAY!" they shouted as they ran out of the undergrowth towards the shining light and what a sight they saw.

For there sat DJ Dave cross legged on a mound of neatly folded URB fleeces. Around his neck hung headphones and in his hand he held a magnificent glowing book.
"I can sense your potential," he said. "I'll rescue you if you will become my protégés and help bring Neighbours updates, motown zones and celebrity birthdays to the good folk of Campus-shire."
"Yippee," they shouted but then from behind them leapt Rumplesebskin.
"So our master plan to recruit the best DJ's has worked," he said.
"What?" exclaimed a confused Laura & Sian.
"Don't worry," said DJ Dave, "Rumplesebskin is merely my helper, not an evil pixie. I use him to hunt down and test potential DJ's for URB. That stands for 'Unbelievable Radio Broadcasting."

And with that DJ Dave handed the girls the book and headphones. Laura & Sian ran over to Rumplesebskin and gave him a big hug.
"We will stop being nasty to you now if you stop being nasty to us and support us in our quest for perfect broadcasting." They said.
"Of course I will." Said Ruplesebskin, putting his sunglasses on his head.

With that they all moved their feet and felt united, living happily ever after in the hamlet of Stu Deo.
