 R-TYPES was released in 1998 for the Playstation. Combining the original two R-TYPE titles from the arcades (R-TYPE (1987)+ R-TYPE 2 (1989), while adding some new graphics and FMV sequences, R-TYPES was (and still is) a necessity.
