Your job today is to search the Internet for sources for the newspaper connection and poetry connection portions of your Malcolm X.

Your entire portfolio is due Friday January 31, 2003.  Use class time wisely and productively so that you can work on the other parts of the portfolio.

1. Your job today is to find 1 source for the poetry connection and 1 source for the newspaper connection.
2. The article and poem you find must be thematically related to Malcolm X.
3. Themes you might look for are race, the Nation of Islam, family, poverty, activism, etc.
4. Hand in a typed summary of the article OR the poem by the end of the period.
