Ok MechMetaKnight or someone, I am so confused.
What exactly is this and what is trying to be solved here? What kind
of puzzle is this? Who's the webmaster? I will help if someone just
explains what is trying to be solved or cracked.

Oh, wrong TINP topic!
The "Riddle Man" is a patch of ASCII in the Alexander riddle that has a human figure.
His neck is on the left side on the tail of the "p" in the second line.
His arms are under "ure kin" in the third line.
His pants begin and his shirt ends by "e to" in the fourth line.

Ok. Someone brought up the puzzle a couple of
months ago. There is no point at the puzzle, we are just trying to
solve it. We are not trying to find anything. The webmaster is

I have a feeling getting past the jail will be
quite extensive. While we have the time, let me tell you about the
whole thing from the beginning.
Someone brought the puzzle a long time ago on this board. Everyone started to wander around it, trying to figure out why the site was here because it was so strange, People emailed Kristian Boruff, the webmaster, and he responded in weird messages. After a while, we noticed that he started to add on to the site, and everyone continued to try to find out the puzzle. People went through codes, etc. trying to get further, and people researched Kristian, even finding his address. They even went through books trying to find the answer to the codes. And here we are now...after the past people just stopped posting.

k, the shadowy part on one of the jail bars was
at the top, after I clicked it, the browser window started opening
slowly, I was expecting to return to the windmills, but it stopped,
and I can't get back to the window with the jail cell, the browser
won't let me. Maybe my internet explorer is busted, I don't
know.

Ok, finally I got back to the Jail cell, I
clicked on the part on the bar, and it gave me the close window
yes/no thing, and kept promptring me the scarecrow puzzle. I kept
entering the user/pass, and on the third time there was this god
awful noise, like crickets from hell.
I got nowhere, needless to say.

Are you talking about the Are You The First on
Robert Silvers that automatically generates the window? Let me tell
you about that. The second one leads to the tree, which is a dead
end that goes back to the light room. The third is a truck, and if
you click the license plate you'll just cycle
again.

then here are some of the messages that pop up when you hold the mouse over certain things. here is how they correspond to the letters, starting from the beginning of "shovel"
S = No bed.
H = Narrow and Cramped.
O = pile of books.
V = It wasn'd the old hotel either.
E = There was barely enough room to walk.
L = It was the Sheepman's Room.
T = No lights.
H = walls and ceiling
A = very, old, round, set with one candle in the middle.
T = Whatever became of him?
G = worm-eatten
O = must've slept on the floor
O = directly into the saucer.
D = No bath.
S = boarded up from inside.
N = any indication.
O = wrapped in his sheep costume.
W = No closet.
and thats all of them, i typed them exaclty as they were, punctuation and capitalization and all. then if you highlight the bottom of the window these letters appear:
