"Since you're awake, how about we go see Grandma Lynn and Uncle JC?"-Justin said as he walked out into the hallway. Brendan just looked up at him with his blue eyes.
He walked into the waiting room and over to his mom and JC. He tapped them on the shoulder as he sat on a nearby chair. "I have someone who wants to see you."-Justin said as he looked down at Brendan.-"Meet Brendan Michael Timberlake."
Lynn got to hold him first.-"Oh Justin, he's a mirror image of you when you were born. He's so beautiful."-Lynn.
Then she passed him to JC.-"So JC, how's it feel to be an uncle?"-Justin.
"Oh it's great. I can only imagine how you feel. How's Hailey?"-JC.
"They haven't told me anything since you were last up."-Justin said as he rubbed his eyes.
"Aw, JC he's asleep."-Lynn said as she pointed to the baby.
"Guess I'm rubbing off on him already."-JC.
"Oh no, better get the baby mom, we don't want any of that going on."-Justin said with a smile.
"Hey, we're bonding here. And what are you gonna do when he is surrounded by Chris and Joey?"-JC.
Justin got a shocked look on his face.-"Uh-oh, I didn't even think about that."
"Well, when you get home, you'll be surprised."-JC.
Justin just looked at him with a questioning look.
Then the Doctor walked in.-"Mr. Timberlake, you can see her. She's awake now."
"Justin, can I talk to her first?"-Lynn.
"Yeah, sure."-Justin.
Lynn walked down the hall and into Hailey's room.
"Hailey?"-Lynn asked as she gingerly stepped into the room.
"Yeah."-Hailey.
Lynn walked over to her bedside.-"How are you feeling now dear?"-Lynn.
"I'm ok now. Little tired and sore."-Hailey.
"I'm sorry I've been so distant lately. I haven't talked to you much since you and Justin separated. You must not like me all that much right now for it, but I love you as much as a daughter. I know Justin loves you too and being with you makes him the happiest I've seen. I just want you to know that I welcome you to this family and I hope you know that you can come to me if you need anything."-Lynn.
Hailey was crying.-"Thank you."
Lynn smiled, then leaned over and kissed her forehead.-"Well, I don't wanna take up all of your time. Just wait til you see Brendan. He looks like a carbon-copy of Justin as a baby."-Lynn.
Hailey smiled.
"I'll go get JC and Justin for you."-Lynn.
"Thanks for everything Lynn."-Hailey said as Lynn exited the room.
A few minutes later, Justin and JC walked in. Justin was now holding Brendan.
"Is that my baby boy?"-Hailey.
"Oh yeah."-Justin walked over and handed him to her.
Everyone just watched her hold him.
"God he's beautiful."-Hailey.
"Just like you."-Justin.
"He has your eyes."-Hailey.
"I think I'll go see what the guys are up to and see if they wanna come over."-JC.
"I'll go with him."-Lynn.
The doctor came in 1/2 hour after they had left.
"How are you feeling Hailey?"-Doctor.
"Little sore, but alright."-Hailey.
"That sounds good. The soreness is, of course, to be expected and may last for quite a while, but it will go away eventually. I origionally came in here to tell you that you can go home tomorrow. We only have two of the test results back, but from what they tell us, we doubt anything major is wrong. Just relax and get lots of rest."-Doctor.
"Thanks."-Hailey.
~Next Day~After getting home, there was a small "welcome back" party, then Justin told her he had to show her something.
He held his hand over her eyes and led her upstairs.
"Where are we going?"-Hailey.
"You'll see."-Justin.
He opened the door to a room and led her in.-"OK, open your eyes."-Justin said as he stepped back.
The whole room had been done over for Brendan. It had Pooh all over.
"Oh, it's beautiful. Who did this though? And isn't this Chris's room?"-Hailey.
"All the guys did it while you were in the hospital and Chris is now living with his girlfriend, Danielle, so he shouldn't be spending the night much over here anymore."-Justin.
"It's perfect. Thank you."-Hailey said as she hugged him.-"And thank you too guys, I know you're out there."-Hailey said to the direction of the door.
Joey, Lance, and JC popped around the doorway.-"You know us too well."-Lance.
After taking their last look around, everyone rejoined the little party downstairs, where the baby was being passed around.
After the party was over and Justin had taken Brendan to bed, Justin and Hailey layed beside each other on the couch.
"I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I have everything I ever wanted and/or needed."-Hailey.
"I was just about to say the same thing."-Justin said as he kissed her.
"I love you."-Hailey.
"I love you too."-Justin.
Hailey giggled.-"Now all that's left is getting married."
"Let's do it."-Justin.
"I was joking."-Hailey.
"I'm not. Marry me, we can get the rings later, but just say you'll marry me."-Justin.
"Are you serious? Of course I'll marry you."-Hailey.
They kissed for a while longer, then headed to their room.
*Morning*
Hailey woke up with Brendan's cry into the baby monitor. Justin wasn't there, but there was a note in his place which she read while heading to the baby's room. He had gone to the studio. They were doing a shoot for their next video and they were gonna be getting their schedules for the next 6 months, which included a huge tour in Europe for 3 months.
Hailey changed the baby, bathed him, clothed him, and fed him his bottle. She still didn't feel all that well. She still had dizziness and some headaches, but she didn't think anything of it because of the ordeal she had been through.
Then the doorbell rang. Brendan had been asleep in her arms after eating, so she laid a blanket out on the livingroom floor and layed him down. Then she answered the door.
"Hey Skylar."-Hailey said as she invited her in.-"I just put Brendan down for a nap."
"Oh, well I wanted to come over and spend the day with you two since Lance nor Justin are home. Oh, and here's your mail."-Skylar.
"Thanks. It's probably the same old junk, just set it on the kitchen table."-Hailey.
The girls spent the day together and took care of Brendan. Then, before the guys were expected to return, they decided to cook dinner.
"Fettucine or Spaghetti?"-Hailey.
"We haven't had spaghetti in a while."-Skylar.
"Alright. How about I make the meal and you make the salad and garlic bread?"-Hailey.
"I think I can handle that."-Skylar said as they headed into the kitchen. Hailey sat Brendan in his little babyseat up on the counter.
As Hailey was waiting for the noodles to boil, she sat down at the table and went through the mail. There was a letter from the doctor at the hospital.
