ME!!
I'm an 18 year old fem attending San Jose State University in California. I'm a dark blonde with blue eyes and very pale skin, but my hair is almost pulled back from my face in a ... well... knot.

My Stuff
Well... I used to be obsessed with Japanese Culture, but since the events in September I've been re-looking at myself and realized I know hardly anything about my ancester's culture. In other words, Scandinavia has become my new obsession. I've also been getting into Ancient Greece and Rome (gotta love Rome), and a wee bit of Ancient Egypt as well. I guess I just love the whole ancient vibe. As for my current favs, my last two favorite movies were Harry Potter and LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring. Personally, I like the later more then the former--Can we say Legolas? In my cd player right now is Nickelback, but at any time during the day you might find Systematic, U2, Metallica, Bush, or even Enya. I tend to just randomly grab a cd and put it in--but I can't find my Life House cd... a reward is at hand for anyone who finds it!.

Blog

Um... Mouses Revenge has been up since October. The first layout was simple frames, which lasted until I went to Blogger in November. What do I use for this madness? Um... Paint (yes, paint) and PSP7.

Music: "Spacetravel" and "Letting the Cables Sleep", both by Bush

Today was the big third floor meeting at the dorm. *sighs* We engaged in one of those infamous "get to know each other" activities, but Sharie and I managed to talk to some cute guys. Did find out why Adam has been MIA--he left the college and transfered to SFSU during the break. *tear* That was the sad news... *sniffles* Did meet another cutie, this one by the name of Matt. He seemed sort of like a half-way ass, though, so I don't see any romantic involvement with him. What am I saying? I don't see any romantic involvement period, at least not for this semester.

Although, one of my professors is a cutie :D

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. Today's high points included: fixing my Neopet's web page, updating Zealots!, making 20,000 dollars on neopets in three hours, buying a petpet for my little Kougra (setting me back 25,000, so I really didn't make any money in the long run :D), actually taking notes in Humanites (and drawing an interesting realistic picture of my Lecture teacher of the day--her profile anyway. I even got her earings down too!), eating a pint of ice cream with Sharie, watching both Friends AND Will and Grace-- AND most importantly I got over some social phobia and had fun.

It's the end of the world as we know it!

*scurries away before song ends :D*

A new day has dawned...

My parents are coming down this weekend. I don't know whether to run in fear or be petrified and go through the welcoming motions. Well, I am pleased by seeing them--don't get me wrong--but I kind of wanted to just chill this weekend and catch up on my Humanities writing. I do, unfortinately, have a paper due for Humanities... *checks to make sure it isn't due today* hehehe, I have until Monday to work on it...

I Love My Computer!

That's all I have to say about that :D Let's just say that its working perfectly now :D

Anyway... more about the parental visit later... right now its time for a plug for my newest layout, Enterprise Zealots! This is Zealots! third layout, this one heavily created in PSP7 :D Check it out! Even if you don't like Enterprise! Just look at the layout! It's dubbed De-armed Tucker! *laughs evily*

I ended up getting up at 7.50 to finish my AmLit homework. I went down to Maple Press to pick up my much anticipated Course Reader (so I could read one of the essays and write the response questions to the text), but unfortinately for me, the stupid store didn't open until 8.30. Not wanting to wait in the frozen air, I hightailed it to the library and photo copied the pages I needed from the Reserve copy there. NOTE TO SELF: Never do it again... two dollars poorer...only 7 pages richer o.o;;

Anyway, I finished my homework and, after yet another computer malidy (it printed extremely blured text), I ended up printing my homework on Sharie's computer in blue ink (she was out of black ink) and running down to AmLit. The class itself was pretty boring-we just tiffled over the questions and were assigned groups for study. o.o;; I felt like the class idiot several times during the class o.o;;

Anyway, I went home and figured out what was wrong with my computer. Somehow, the ink cartrige had decided it was no a ...60, instead of a ...50. *growls* After that, I pretty much listened to Depeche Mode's "Its No Good" a few times and tried to get reading for my Biol Sem... which is in an hour and a half *sweatdrops* I'd better go! Later all!

Story I'm watching in the news: Dalai Lama's Illness

This is not a good story to wake up to in the news. I pray with all my heart that the Dalai Lama recovers completely from whatever illness plauges him. The fact that he is a good man is an understatement--the Dalai Lama is one of the best humanity has ever seen. He is a wise and kind man--as close to Yoda we petty humans (:P) can get--, and deserves all our prayers, no matter what religion we call our selves.

I'm leaving off here now because I need to go clean my room for my mum's appearance and to collect my thoughts after this disturbing news.

"Warm Machine" --Bush (from Science of Things)

I memorize the basics
Making strange faces
Tread slowly for I know
There's a thousand miles to go
Without blinking

Gravitate spacewards
Find a home for the head
From my basement
No darkness ever left

This is the night
This is the sound
Here comes the warm machine
Such a warm machine

Some days are playful
Making play faces
But we will not let it through
The darkness and the sense
Of being born to lose

This is the life
This is the ground
Here comes the warm machine
Such a war machine

This is the life
This is the ground
Here comes the warm machine
Such a war machine

If we never know we can only feel
I'll take the help
I'll take a slice
Warm
Alright
Now
`Cause I feel alright

I memorize the basics
The basics
The basics

This is the night
This is the sound
Here comes the warm machine
Such a warm machine
Such a warm machine
Such a warm machine
Machine
Machine
Machine

And that, my friends, is the song I've been listening to more or less continuously for the past four days. o.o;; I can't get it out of my head... eek!!!! *runs and hides from the throbing melody*

Hi! Today I only had two classes (and put in about a mile and a half walking so far), but unfortinately the two books I deperately need (for Humanities and for AmLit) aren't in yet... :P

Other then that... nothing much has happened. I'm going to go pick up my new monitor later today, so I'll be viewing 17 inches of screen when I set it up :D I'm going to install PSP7 tomorrow (just haven't had the time yet), so you'll see a new layout of the blog either Friday night or Saturday morning. I'm sure you don't want to see my uggie mug any more :D

Hello again! I managed to get to my American Lit class on time and discovered that the university had finally handed out enough money for Sweeney Hall to get new desks! Oh, they are so comfortable... made for big bummed people :D

I'll post more when I get back from my mom's birthday party...

Well, its later, so let me go ahead and try and sort out all that happened. Not too much, but I did get the episode guide up for tonights Enterprise Guide up. Other then that, today was spent walking, playing Tetris Attack, walking, surfing the web, and did I mention walking? I think I managed to put in 3 miles of walking today...

*winces* Well, it's 12:30 the day of classes beginning, and I'm still up. But am I worried? No! I'm better prepared then most school days :D Anyway, Life if progressing fairly well. Tomorrow---er---today my first class is at 10:30. I had to go searching through my catalog to find out the time and more importantly the place of my class, which is, strangely enough, American Lit-A. Why do I find this strange? Well, lets just say that I wanted to broaden my horizons... and this class I've already taken (more or less). Oh well, at least its a lecture class.

I also started a new project. It's a Beta-Reader's Hub for Harry Potter (+) fiction. Looking for actual Beta-Reader's to join. So far there's just one: me. Looks pretty lame opening with just one Beta-Reader [if that rant doesn't work: |X ~ ). The BIG Hypnotic Fish!!]. o,o;; Anyway, I've dubbed my creation (the new site, not the fish o.o;;): Beta Max. Har-Har!

Anyway, again sorry for the previous entry. I kind of unloaded a lot of frustration, though, so it was good on my end. I'll post more later... maybe tell you all about my hot new teacher *sigh* One can only hope...

Note: Pretty Please excuse the swearing below, I was pretty mad. Continue at your own risk
I HATE MY FUCKING COMPUTER

Alright, got that frustration out. :P to stupid fucking ass computers. :P :P :P :P

If you were wondering, I had my IP address and all that good stuff all correctly filled out, and then when my roommate was copying the basic TCP/IP network protocol down (she had lost the basic TCP/IP network protocol and all that but still had, for some reason, her IP address) when she accidentally clicked on the “Find automatically”… I lost my fucking TCP/IP network protocol AND my fucking IP address. To make matters worse, when I finally fucking get go down and get a copy of my Port info which contains these marvelous numbers that allow me to use the fucking internet, it wouldn’t let me set the Subnet Mask as it said on the sheet. :P :P :P

So, I spent four hours of my life cursing, sobbing, beating (my fist on table next to computer), wailing (quite pitifully), and finally vacuuming (to get my fucking mind off the fucking computer ailment). So up until that point my day was going… peachy… when Lor shows up sobbing that she has to fucking move to a new fucking dorm. Not only that, but she might have to move again in two weeks because they’re putting her in a fucking triple room and the openings for room switches happen in two weeks.

FUCKING ASS DAY!!!

Alright, I’ve been saying the F word a bit to much…

As you can tell, I finally figured out how to get the fucking TCP/IP network protocol to work (I should have taken Sharie’s advice and used the Wookie approach and bashed the fucking ass thing in) and kept my sanity… for the most part. As an added perk, the floor is refreshingly devoid of crumbs from last nights Baked Lays fight, so today hasn’t been a complete waste… *grumbles about fucking computers*

Sorry for the swearing, again, but I was kind of mad. Then I posted on ASMR and felt a whole lot better : )

My wedding Date: Saturday, August 28, 2004
Social Factors
On the social front, you are pretty serious marriage material. As you read this, forces beyond your control are aligning to put you on the altar with Mr. Right. It's you, girl. Your number is up, and someone out there is just dying to pop you the question. There's no need to book a flight to Vegas, but you might want to start thinking about your wedding gown.

Emotional Factors
Emotionally, you seem to be fairly ready for marriage. You show strong signs of being a contender, and you've got what it takes to make the plunge. Maybe any hesitation is just a small case of the "jitters." In any case, for Mr. Right, it's practically a done deal. He's just waiting for the right moment, so sit back and let it happen.

Sexual Factors
You have very few sexually motivated reasons for avoiding marriage. Of course, the carefree single life can pose a strong attraction, but you probably prefer the thought of devoting yourself to one person. It's true that there are a lot of unsolved mysteries out there, but once you've found the right person, it's time to close shop. Congratulations on having the strength and security to know what's right for you.

DUDE....I'd never get married in August... its too bloody hot!!!!!!!

*yawns* enough being online... *yawns*

I forgot to mention in the other entry that I've been granted a title at GK RPG! I am now the Chairperson of Layout Creation/Maintenance. Pretty niffty sounding title, don't you think? I did a pretty simple layout for GK, both the page that uses frames and the one that doesn't. I'm still working on the page without frames, but all in all this RPG has a much better experience then my last : )

Now, to further my plans at dorm domination....

Of Madness induced by Krispy Kreme
plus: Lugging 50 LBs up 3 flights just for fun! (NOT!)

I haven't updated my blog in a while, so I'm going to try and get this all out in one entry. More then likey not, but I can try!

I was given a new nickname at my going off party on Wednesday. Jeff, Staci, Andrea, and everyone one else was there, including Staci's almost two year old daughter, Tasha. That girl is just too cute! She looks just like her father... even has his red-gold hair and sweet pudgie face! Oh dear, I'm gushing now. *laughs* Anyway, after sampling the delicious Taco Bell menu (not all of it, just burritos and tacos) and making lots of great memories, my time with my friends in Oregon was soon over. It was good to see everyone again, but sort of bittersweat, too.

Friday was the trip (solo) down to the bay area. Snow and ice found the wheels, but other then that the drive went pretty well. My mom is still back east, so I stayed at my house alone until Lorilee, my aunt, came by and we hung out. Saturday was another Leonard day, as it was Lorilee and Lisa's birthdays. Got to see my cousins again, as well as sample some more mexican food (this time from a wonderful place in Los Gatos called Pedros-- can't miss the orange building : ) ), and as a plus side was allowed to drive Lorilee's car. I must say, Jaguar's are DANGEROUS vehicles *laughs*

Saturday night I stayed over at Lorilee's house and we had a blast. We went out shopping and I snagged a few awesome deals, including this hot cream top with leather lacing up the side. I debated getting some black boots, but decided they were just too Daria-ish for my taste. I love that cartoon, but no offense-- I just DON'T want to dress like Daria Morgandorffer! Anyway, we also raided Krispy Kreme's at ten (pm) and proceeded to go on a five hour sugar high until we both collapsed down stairs while watching Clueless again.

Today was spent mostly just packing up and heading to the dorm. It took five and a half trips to lug all my junk up the three flights of stairs, and the Sharie across the way got in the same time I did. My roommie is no where to be seen--but then again she told me not to expect her back until Monday night at the earliest. As class doesn't start until Wednesday I'm just cooling my heels in the dorm, waiting for Loran to stop by. She said she'd move back into the dorm Tuesday... but I doubt she'll wait that long.

On a plus side, Sharie (my sharie) and I might be moving into her and Hana's old room! Yay!

Well, I'm all sweaty so I'm going to depart now. See ya'll later!

*yawns* Man, I'm tired and its only ten pm... Listening to "In the End" for the last two hours must be messing with my sleep deprived mind I guess :D
I feel like such an idiot though... I just realized that my link to January's archive of posts had 2001 in the html... not 2002... and the starting date has 02 instead of 01...I'm such an idiot...
*snores*
Anyway...
What has happend since I last blogged? A few cookies (chocolate chip... yummm), stir fry, and changing the layout for the RPG that I'm a part of.... other then that not much. Sorry for not updating like I should. *yawns* I'll come up with something good tomorrow... got a new layout/pic up so you don't have to see my uggy face
*yawns*
