Rules



Battling And Sparring




Battling is a very important part of any successful RPG. If you don't know how to battle you won't get too far. If you want to battle or spar with someone you post a messege under battling with your name and stats VS. your opponent with their name and stats. For example:

Vegeta
Pl: 7,000
Hp 14,000
ki: 250

VS.

Gohan
Pl: 13,000
Hp: 26,000
ki: 250


Next you should reply to your post with your attacks; you get a total of 10 action points (ap), which you can create, physical attacks(pa) up half an ap and you can do up to 20 pa .. Level 1 ki attacks take up 1 ap, level 2 ki attacks take up 2 ap, level 3 ki attacks take up 3 ap.........etc.

Your attack post should look something similar to this:

I start off with 4 kicks to the face (2ap) followed by 2 (1ap) punches to the gut then I finish him off with 7 (7pa) ki blasts.

Physical attacks 6 (3ap)
Ki blasts 7 (7ap)

Then your opponent should reply with their attacks:

I get up from his barrage of attacks and think to myself "His power is far greater than that of mine.. I must give it all I've got" So I dash toward him and elbow him in the gut then do a flash kick stunning him and springing me into the air where I charge my BBA when its done I scream "BIG BANG ATTACK!"

Doing a post like that will give you a far greater increase in power and experience compared to that of the first attack.

All attacks do damage unless they miss. To determine if a person hits their target or misses, simply take a coin (doesn't matter which one) and flip it. If someone gets heads, then they hit their target, but if they get tails, they don't. All powering-up attacks work, and attacks marked that they always hit. To calculate the damage of physical attacks you divide the attackers power level by 100. EX:

Vegeta Pl- 7,000

Vegeta's physical attacks will do 70 damage:

7,000/100 = 70

Therefore if Vegeta did an all out barrage of physical attacks (20pa) it would do 1,400 damage.

70 * 20 = 1,400

Then to find the damage done to the opponents Power Level you divide the damage done to their health by half. EX:

1,400/2 = 700

You then take 700, and subtract it from their Power Level, to get their new power level. You then multiple their Power Level by 2 to get their new health. And remember to subtract Ki. So if someone did 10 Big Bang attacks, that would cost 100 Ki, so try to remember to subtract that.

Also, you may only use one of any kind of item during your turn. So only one senzu bean, one super bean, etc. etc.

In a battle to the death, if there is a tie, the person who had the better posts is the winner, though both die. Whoever won gets the other person's items and money, while the loser gets nothing but the void. The administrators and moderators and trusted members of the RPG will be asked to judge the posts. Also, the winner gets double the normal update for the fight. So it's a good thing to win battles to the death :-P.


Beam Wars




Beam wars are a common thing in the Dragonball Z universe. Beam was are where two warriors fire a beam similer to one another and they become interlocked. Beam Wars can last from an area of 3 to 7 turns in a battle, and can take a great strain on the users. To get in a beam war, two oppenents must both use a beam on the same level with the same damage percentage, the same amount of times. A ref may choose it they then go into a beam war, and if they do, then get ready for a beam war. During the beam wars, the one with the higher power level and health will get the advantage, unless their oppenent has more Ki then they do. Each turn during a beam war the warriors use 20,000 of their health, thus 10,000 of their Pl. They also use 100 Ki. The first to run of out Ki, Hp or Pl loses the beam war, and all of their stats goto 0, thus them losing the battle or spar.

Attacks and Abilities


Attacks and Abilities are an important part of the Rpg. To learn attacks or abilities, you must be on the level they are on. But if you are level 2, you can still learning level 1 attacks and abilities. To learn attacks or abilities, you must have the required about of Kp. You then must write a rp about learning it. Each level the attacks and abilities are is how much Ap they cost. So if it is a level 3 ability or attack, it costs 3 ap during battle.

Fusion




The rules that were here are prehistoric. I'm not about to write the rules for it right now, because I have a lot more work to do and it'll be quite a while until two people have fusion dance anyways. When you and your friend want to fuse and both have Fusion Dance, the level 5 ability, ask me to write this. Until then, bleh!

Ship Enhancements


Ship's can be given enhancements. A list of enhancements and their prices are:
  • Retro Engines: 550,000 - Increases overall Speed by one day.
  • Hyper Engines: 1,250,000 - Increases overall Speed by 4 days.
  • Docking Bay: 1,000,000 - Allows Advanced Spaceship and Warships to hold up to 3 Saiyan Space pods or one Namek Spaceship
  • Extra Rooms: 10,000 Each - Adds rooms in the ship for more things. Can't be done to Saiyan Space pod or Namek Spaceship.
  • Advanced Controls: 600,000 - Allows your ship to run on it's own
  • Add (extra) Weapons: 200,000 - Allows you to add weapons to your ship, or more weapons
  • Paint job: 1,000 - Gives your ship a custom look
  • Increase Size: 30,000 - Increases the size of your ship so it can hold 2 more people


    Combos




    No combos anymore, they're stupid. I'm leaving this up here cause the gif is cool.

    Death




    When you Die, there's two places you can go, depends on our Heart. If you Are Neutrul, you may goto Either Place. And you can only go once!

    If your heart is 100% Good, you can goto King Kai's, if King Yemma lets you! It takes a week to train there. This is the Schedule.

    Day 1: Snake Way/Arriving at King Kai's.
    Day 2: Getting Used to Gravity
    Day 3: Catching Bubbles.
    Day 4: Hitting Gregory with the Mallet.
    Day 5: Shooting the Boulders.
    Day 6: Learning Kaio-Ken/Sparring King Kai.
    Day 7: Snake Way/Returning to Earth.

    If your Heart is 100% Evil, you can goto Atropos's, In Hell. You Automacilly goto Hell. The Training Takes a Week. Here's the Schedule.

    Day 1: Traveling to Astropos across Hell.
    Day 2: Arriving at Astropos Castle/Battling his Ogre Guards
    Day 3: Getting Used to the Gravity.
    Day 4: Running through the Maze against a Minotaur.
    Day 5: Sparring the Minotaur
    Day 6: Learning Dark Spirt/Sparring Astropos.
    Day 7: Returning to King Yemmas/Earth.

    King Kai's and Atropos's Pls are 25% Higher then yours, and the Gravity at their places is 10 times Normal Gravity.



    Dragonballs



    Scattered on some Planets across the universe are a set of Dragonballs. To find these Dragonballs, you must have some sort of equipment (Check Items) that allows you to find them. Once you get the Dragonballs, you must put them all in a circle with the 7 star dragonball in the middle. All Dragonball Rps must be OK'd by an all-around mod/admin or three updating mods. If someone challenges you for any number of Dragonballs in your posession, you have no choice but to accept. No items are allowed in Dragonball battles unless both people agree to using them. Here's a list of things that CANNOT be wished for:
  • Over 500,000 Zeni
  • Items that aren't in the item section (I.E. Fusion Earrings, Custom ships)
  • Items that are marked unwishable
  • Wishing for Something someone has
  • A stage upgrade
  • More Wishes
  • For Someone to die
  • To be certain Pl or Hp
  • Exp or Kp
  • Level Increase
  • To have more Ap
  • Attacks or Abilities that are on a higher level then your own
  • Ultimate Attacks or Abilities
  • Magic Attacks
  • More than one thing in a wish (Ie, 2 of one item, multiple attacks)

  • If you are challenged to a battle for dragonballs, you can't back down.


    Hasseling


    Please don't hassel the admins (GMs) into trying to update you, because we are all usually busy, and some may even have lives. So please wait patiently for an admin to get on, and they'll update you when they get the chance.


    Ability Points


    Ability Points (Ap) are how you determine how many times you can attack during a battle. As you level up, so does your ap. Here's a list of the Ap increases:

    Level 1: 10
    Level 2: 12
    Level 3: 14
    Level 4: 16
    Level 5: 18
    Level 6: 20
    Level 7: 22
    Level 8: 25
    Level 9: 28
    Level 10: 31
    Ultimate: 35


    Leveling Up


    Levels are a very important Aspect of the Rpg. As you gain levels you are able to get more attacks and abilities. You need a certain amount of Experience to level up. Heres the list of experience needed:

    Level 1: Starting level
    Level 2: 100
    Level 3: 200
    Level 4: 400
    Level 5: 800
    Level 6: 1,600
    Level 7: 2,100
    Level 8: 2,600
    Level 9: 3,450
    Level 10: 4,000
    Ultimate: 5,000
