  • Guildhall School of Music and Drama The Conservatory in London from which cellist Guy Johnston and our very own conductor Mr Bolton graduated.

  • National Festival Of Music For Youth Website of the National Festival of Music For Youth, which the Orchestra took part in this year.

  • The National Youth orchestra of Scotland (NYOS) Several members of AYSE attend the bi-annual courses or the Easter Repetoire course of prestigious Orchestra. The site also covers the National Childrens Orchestra of Scotland (NCOS), the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland (NYJOS) and Camerata Scotland. All of which have had AYSE members participating in them at one point.

  • Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama The only music conservatory in Scotland, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama is situated in Glasgow.

  • St Mary's Music School Website of St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh where former AYSE first Oboist Fraser Kelman is studying.

  • United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) Website of the United Nations Childrens fund, for which AYSE have put on 2 charity concerts raising a total of at least £800.

  • Yehudi Menuhin School of Music The famous school founded by reknowned violinist Yehudi Menuhin. Founding member and first leader of AYSE Claire Telford recently took up a teaching post there assisting her Royal College of Music professer.
