union mayhem

"intercurrent" was the unification of me and three other acquaintances. short lived; maybe. destined for greatness; definately not. but sometimes, it's just about getting together, venting a little rage, and getting fucked up.

and it's as simple as that.

besides, how do you go from nowhere - or more accurately, just to the left of nowhere - to somewhere?

last time i checked, the people responsible were:

jon on guitar [he lives for this]
yimmy on the drums.
kristoph - excuse me, "satan" on the electronics section [read, keyboard].
myself on vocals.

we've all gone our seperate ways now. but then, that's to be expected when your musical and lyrical talent is lacking, and you've played live only thrice... in the dead of night... in downtown-nowhere, rat-hole bars... and didn't tell anyone. might as well face it, it was over before it started.

not that i'm terribly disappointed - it was an interesting experiment,
but that's all it was. and we all knew it when we began.

but then, even individually, that's the way we've always been:

all about the mayhem.

well, that sounded egocentric. but anyone who's ever raged against any pointless injustice suffered in their life will understand what i mean. in a time where "human dignity" is nothing more than an oxymoron, the need for chaos - to counteract the overwhelming stagnancy of a lethargic nation - is an addictive need indeed.

and that is why i am here.

now i am left alone, on my own, as i prefer. so i decided to make this little site as a testament to the good things in life:

the pleasure of crafting words into pretty little shapes & patterns, however subversive they may be.
the chimerical ability to remain utterly and anonymously faceless, even in a crowd.
the gift of being able to appreciate the good, the bad, and the ugly.
the freedom to say whatever the fuck i want.
however the fuck i want.
whenever the fuck i want.

but, as anyone who knows me will tell you, i've got many a side to me; some good, some bad. some obvious, some hidden.

these are just the facades we present. the faces we hide behind. choose and pick a mask at your discretion, because somewhere - at the point where the face i show you and the face you create in your mind intersect - you'll find me.

or maybe you won't.

but in the mean time, have a little fun if you like, touring this digital-microcosmic representation of my being. and always remember that it's about expression. about making choices, or dealing with choices. not about hate.

but if you still find yourself in danger of becoming offended, just remember:

warning

lighten up.
there's a possibilty you may have taken
what i intended to mean the wrong way...
so it's really your fault.
and you're free to leave
any time you choose.

thank you for taking the time to read this little rant.
i hope you enjoy whatever you may find here.
