This part will get into three different parts: Soul Groups, as a whole; Soul Mates; and Twin Souls.
SOUL GROUPS:
A soul group is basically the souls you stay with in the eternal plane, those closest to you. In this realm, you stay close to them, changing roles throughout every life to learn how to deal with those people in every situation. People who believe in reincarnation agree with this. Your mother in one life will be your wife in the next and then your sister or daughter or father. You need to know how to deal with her in every possible situation and every possible role.
The people who seem to matter the most in this life or have the biggest impact regardless of how long you know them are all a part of your soul group. You'll notice some of the people who have the biggest impact are only around for a couple years, if that--they're also the ones you're more likely to randomly run into five years down the line and repeatedly throughout your lifetime--no matter where you go. It's like this: We need to know what it's like to function withot certain members, but we still need to run into them periodically and have that tie to our sleeping souls in the eternal realm.
Soul groups have another function as well. Not only are they the people you learn with in every life, but they're also the ones you create with. When the foundations for a new existence are laid, one person tells the main story--the mission and the main obstacle. The rest of the group applies the finishing details--like taking a shit--and every soul in existence brings their own personality and contribution as this world develops--like movies and books and personality. Every person in a soul group will be the one telling the main story at some point in time.
SOUL MATES:
That would be that one guy or gal that touches you in a way no one else can. The one that makes you feel completely whole, the one that "clicks" when you meet. It's the person you meet for the first time, but already recognize and know everything about. Simplified for the point of this theory, it's the guy or gal or neuter sitting next to you in the eternal plane mentally massaging your hand as your sleeping bodies go through all these trying experiences on Earth.
You may or may not have this person available in each life. You may only know each other in passing. You may only be friends, you may actually get them and then they die the next day. You may even find them and have them for the rest of your lives and know in your heart you're not just with the most convenient person who will keep you happy here--but the real, actual ONE. Keep in mind that because your thoughts are genderless, at some point in your evolution you will have to deal with being openly and happily gay, and also closet and unsuccessfully gay--just another aspect and limitation we have to learn from this whole sex thing.
TWIN SOULS:
On Earth and in every life, we have families--correct? Okay, well most of us, and I apologize to those who don't. But the fact is even orphans have people they spend a good deal of time with that become family.
Well picture your soul group as your celestial family--hence their important roles in every life and why you need to learn mainly with them in every existence. Well just as there can be identical twins in human families, there can also be twin souls--or thoughts--on the eternal plane.
It's the one soul, either in your group or another, that is exactly like you. Like with a soulmate, if you meet them here--you feel like you've already met and you've known them forever. This is the person that is exactly like you. You feel like you're looking in a mirror and you look nothing alike. However, you probably sound alike, talk alike, act alike, and walk alike. . . . Because you're cousins, identical cousins all your lives. . . .Sorry. I don't know what came over me.
But you get the drift. It's the person almost exactly like your soul mate--only entirely like you as opposed to only "very similar."
And yes, Timmy, at some point over the course of your human evolution you will even bed your twin. You have to know what it's like to screw yourself as much as you need to learn everything else.
