Never has there been a greater sham in history than the French Lycée, a place where you'll pay for decaying, decrepit, dilapidated buildings, cracked walls, peeling paint, no facilities whatsoever, and members of staff ranging from the worthless to the insane . The rules change as often as Mme Goddard's hair colour. Might as well have gone to a state school, it's certainly a far sight cheaper. But we stay for the 'kudos'. If not, why would all the immigrant Arabs be sending their children there (Don't send me hatemail about this, I'm Arab too). Suffice it to say, it has some kind of appeal as an international school, even though a great number of students seem to be unashamed xenophobes and flagrant bigoted comments are rife , it's all in fun; who could complain? I'm not protesting, TAL seem a tight knit group and no one's ever REALLY serious about what they say. So familiar in fact that rumours spread like wildfire within our 'little community', even though, in truth, no one gives, and the school's populous is somewhat sectionated into little 'groups' (the artists, the sportsmen, the outcasts, etc.)

These aren't really my personal thoughts, I have none, I'm merely quoting popular opinion, It's the only school I've ever been to, It's a prison, and I couldn't see myself anywhere else. It's a good school, really, no joke, I promise.
