AGAINST FASCISM 7" (Ronky Recs) - WAT TYLER (Eng), MANIFESTO JUKEBOX, WASTED (Fin) and EX-CATHEDRA (Sco) - a good comp, really. 2-Fiddy (2.50) ppd.

AGENT 86 - Anthology (New Wave Recs) - Seattle punk; very political. No, not NIRVANA, or THE WIPERS, or THE MELVINS, but an angry trio that rock just as much! I love this, but I already own 3 copies, so I'm selling this. Think 7 SECONDS at a riot with DEAD KENNEDYS - magic. 5 quid (inc p+p) o.n.o.

BAD INFLUENCE - Last Cries (R3) - Heavy goth/punk crap. But it's in a digipack! Yea! 3.50 ppd.

BOTTOM LINE - In and Out of Luck (Nice Guy Recs) - Bible-bashing NOFX-copyists. Inspired by NOFX - good. Inspired by god - bad. I bet they're the kind of fuckers that buy 2.1% lager [jeez - what I'm saying is that staying teetotal is cool, and getting incontinent is also cool. But you don't drink beer if you're not going to get beered (pissed)! Honestly, tee-totality and sXe is still cool with me! And I'm not saying that I'm more of a man because I can stand outside a distillery and get wasted - but I am......] 2.50 bucks ppd.

IRON MAIDEN - The Trooper (EMI). "Ho-oh-oh-oh-oho!" I hate this now, but I liked it. When I was 13. Anyway, this is from '82, and it's in a battered cover. I think Remains from Fracture might like this!?!? 50p, squire.

MORONS - Uncle Stan 5-track demo. Is this funny? No ... not really ... but it's 'rude, crude and foul' as my dear English teacher would have it...hell, I'm just jealous because I'm not playing bass for them! Or am I? Anyway, this is two quid to you, squire.

RAGGITY ANNE - Only Square People...(Boss T) Buy this and find out the rest of the title! I have two of these, so I'm doubly cursed. Joking - this rules. THE RAMONES lost in a jungle with THE UNDERTONES or THE MISFITS or something ... rock. 4 quid each.

SLIPKNOT - Spit It Out 7" - Hahahaha...how you mock me. And with reason, I suppose. I bought this in 2000 because it was on special offer, and because I liked them then. I hate them now. Seen them live - they sucked. But! This was limited to 1000 copies, and it's on red vinyl! It's rare, but crap. Either 2 quid or I'll swap you this for a Minor Threat or GBH 7"!! Anyone??!?

SKIMMER - Vexed (Crackle!). The singer has obviously been punched in the balls. This is very Crackly UK punk-pop, well worth a look if you dig Crackle Records. Like BLINK 182 without the Crackle habits. Four quid ppd.

V/A - METAL HAMMER 003 (from '90). WINGER! SONS OF ANGELS! BAD COMPANY! UNDERNEATH WHAT! Oh fuck! I stole this from a car boot sale in Y2k because I guessed that BAD COMPANY were a punk band. I was wrong. Free. Take it away and I will love you forever. Yes, free.

V/A - POP A BONER (Get Happy - er, I would if I could, but it's on Get Happy Recs) A compilation of Cleveland punk rock and punk pop. Some very nice nu-SUM 41s here, as well as nu-GET UP KIDS and nu-JIMMY EAT WORLDs ... meh. It's OK. Buy it. Two squid.

Decline Records!

Yes, it is named after 'The Decline' by NOFX, the songs that I consider to be the best song ever! Not really known as the punkest of the punk, NOFX unleashed this 18-minute long masterpiece in 1998, and I picked it up in June 2000! I was taken aback, and, literally, the way I thought changed! Varied musical styles, but a strong political message runs throughout the song! So I thought it would be best to honour a fantastic song by naming my label after it. Beast!

PROJECTS IN THE PIPELINE!

1.) THE DECLINE OF PUNK ROCK CDR! It has been nearly a year since I approached the first band, and 'The DoPR' is still not released! See above for all the bands that are on board so far! I need another 3 bands, so, hurry! Leave a message on the guestbook if you can help me! Any band will do - generic ska-punk, Buddhist chants, your cat meowing - as long as it's on a CDR or CD!! Sorry to be snobbish!

Decline Records will distribute it exclusively, but I will trade! 'A CDR?' you think? Well, DIY doesn't mean shit, so decent packaging, front cover by Welly of Four Letter Word and a beast line-up means that many "pay no more than 3 quid" stickers will be found round Garmouth way!

2.) THRASHSPEY - demo. Oi oi oi ...... yes, KK quit the band, but I will record again! One day...

So that's it for Decline so far...I'll keep you posted on progress. I'm up for a split release, and although I can't do a lot for ya, you might as well send in demos - note: you know what I like - intelligent or funny lyrics, some competence in playing your instruments, the right attitude - fuck me, I feel like a Music teacher! Aaaaaaaaarrrrgh!!

FOR LEFT-OF-CENTRE RECKONING, ANTI-MOST-STUFF THINGS AND THOUGHTS OF FREEDOM TO SURVIVE, A NETWORK IS NEEDED. RTB HELPS THIS. WE CAN'T LOSE IT! SO 1/3 OF ALL D.o.P.R. SALES WILL GO TO RTB. SALES? The Decline Of Punk CDR bands as of 11/12/02.

As explained below, I need bands for my compilation CDR - that is, The Decline Of Punk Rock CDR. But here are the bands that I have conned, er, I mean persuaded so far!!!
Four Letter Word. Welsh melodic hardcore, a la Dag Nasty or Face To Face.
Pilger. Oh yes, they're named after Mr. John Pilger and they're as political as their namesake. We need a band like Pilger in these times!
Blocko. Every fucker says they sound like early-90s UK punk. Well, I wasn't a punk in the early-90s, so Blocko are like a Broccoli for the now!
Killerest Expression. They are good at playing their instruments and are sort of on a Snuff/Leatherface tangent. I think.
Chokeword. Southampton hardcore. Tony, also of amazing paper zine Suspect Device and 3 others made short, fast shocks of US HC, before they split up.
DC-9. Another band that have split - think sort of hardcore punk and...and... they're a goddamn uncategorisable band! They're good, they're from England, they've split up.
Wat Tyler. Another fucking band of quitters! The funniest band in the world (although the mighty Anal Beard have came close!). Think Russian Communist theories, Olde English inspirations yet with a large shot of the modern, ah, fuck it, I've fucked this up as well. Just funny punk rock from London!
Eastfield. (almost!) Midlands urban-rail-punk-rock that rules. Beast.
A Close Last. Ned-bashing Glaswegian punk rock. Good for them, eh?
External Menace. Old 80s Scottish punk rock!
Dogshit Sandwich. Birmingham punk rock. When I say punk rock, I mean it. Raaaaaaaaaarrr!
Agent 86. US political punk rock from the 80s.
Garfield. Inverness punk rock with me on vocals! Oh shit!
Chinkees. The only US band on the CDR so far! Great-sounding anti-racist ska-punk out of California!
Joey Cohen Riot. Dunno what they sound like yet, but they're fae Carlisle.
Eastfield. Midlands urban rail punk rock! They rule.
Hit For Six. Bratty oi/punk rock that has bits of ska. Their demo is cool.
Not confirmed as yet (sorta): Second To Last. Seems that they're Cumbrian Kerrang-featured, At The Drive In and Fugazi-liking late-teenage punkers, bwoy! That's all I can pick up cuz my media player is fucked!
Your band. Look, guys. Friends, even. I am chomping at the fucking bit. I wanted to get this out by June 2002 - at this rate it'll be April 2233! You are disappointing the bands (and me) by not suggesting another band for this compilation! So, (sorry punk purists) I am lifting my boycotting of weak, generic ska-punk. Any band can go on the CDR - if their attitude is not fascist, corporate etc. If you can fart into a digeridoo for 10 seconds and get it onto a CDR, I will put it on! Don't believe me? Try me!
