This is a picture of a 3D Studio Max file I made. The character portrayed has just completed a thrust with a rapier. It is only a skeleton figure, but it is extremely important for the character's figure and form. This is the same character as portrayed to the left, but with a simple box/man skin around it. This may not seem very impressive as it stands, but the skin is important in showing how well balanced the weight of the bones are on the figure. I started with a simple DaVinci pose, and then repositioned it to this. You can see how the joints and posture does not allow for the skeleton to stick through the skin. This is very important, since many games these days still allow for certain objects to pass through others. I don't allow for that. It takes away from reallism too much.
