The only bad thing about the CPAP is that it makes his nose really sore. Any little movement on the breathing tube makes him cry. Since the tube has to be changed about every 12 hours to keep it from getting clogged, the nurses try not to have to bother him alot. They want to try to leave him alone as much as possible so they don't have to move the tube.
He has been really healthy and has been gaining weight and strength! He is up to 3lbs 7 oz and is getting bigger every day! We just have to be careful at this point to make sure that he stays healthy!
He loves to be held! Although it is a little more difficult to get him out of the new incubator bed, we still try to hold him a couple of times a week! He seems to like his new bed. It's really quiet in the bed, and he gets alot of good rest. I think that this bed is really good for him and helps him grow alot. The only think I don't like is that it's really hard to get any good pictures of him and it takes a get him out to hold him.
Unfortunately I've not been able to get many good pictures. Please enjoy the pictures that I was able to get and I'll work on getting some better pictures in the future.
