Ty Carl Buffington February 17th Update

Ty has been working very hard this week! He had his surgeries and is recovering. Everything went pretty good. Right now the doctors are keeping him pretty sedated so that everything can heal. After a couple of days they will start waking him up a little more and letting him start move around more. He's going to be sore for a while yet so he will be on some strong pain medication.

The doctors were all very happy with how well everything went. They all said that doing the tracheostomy is the best way to get his lungs healed and to get him home. Even though we've still got a while left in the hospital, his lungs are going to heal so much faster.

Please keep Ty in your prayers. He has a long way to go before he can come home... He just has a little more work to do.
