Alien Walkthrough: A3
A3. Propogate The Species
Your Queen has arrived in a fertile virgin territory inhabited by humans and a wide variety of indigenous wildlife.
The untapped region fuels an innate desire to propagate the species far and wide.
Instinctually sensing threats to the fabric of the Hive-mind, the Queen hungers for stronger, more superior hosts to use in growing the new Hive.
Prepare to grow a Hive bigger and stronger than ever before. Create the Eggs and find the hosts to build up the horde. Then, search far and wide for Predator hosts. The Hive must grow stronger.
PROPAGATE & STRENGTHEN THE SPECIES
Objectives:
* Search for superior Predator hosts.
* Kill the Leader of the Predator Clan.
Optional Objectives:
* Create 6 Runners.
Starting Forces:
* 500 Infestation Points
* 1 Queen
Target Time: 32 minutes

Move your Queen directly north and kill the Brawler and two Hunters there with her. Don’t worry about her taking damage, she’s very strong and will recover. When they are dead, place your Queen somewhere in the middle of the bodies and have her make the egg sac. Impregnate the three Predators to make three Predaliens.
Now for this level you will need six Runners to complete the optional objective. There are a few Kurn scattered around this level to do that. I marked them on the map for you, but don’t kill them yet! Leave them where they are and you’ll get to that soon. Also, as soon as you have 750 infestation points, give the Predalien its upgrade! It is extremely helpful to get early on in this level and make your Predaliens practically unbeatable later on. You will also need the Facehugger upgrade, as it makes getting the optional objective much easier. As you progress through this level, you may want to move your Queen west along the map, to make getting new Predaliens easier.
Send your three Predaliens directly west and they will find two Brawlers and a Kurn. Kill the Predators, but leave the Kurn for now. Drag their bodies back to the Hive or send two Facehuggers out to give you two more Predaliens. It’s very good for your Predaliens to take small amounts of damage, as it allows them to molt and gain additional HP each time, after getting the upgrade. This is what will make them very strong by the level’s end. It may be a good idea to get a Runner soon, as they can see cloaked Predators. By this point more Predators should be attacking you, and possibly the Queen as well, so take care of them for even more Predaliens.
Soon your army of Predaliens will be large, and your oldest Predaliens should have HP about 1000 by now. When you get a chance, hunt down the Kurns and make Runners. You’ll only need three Kurns to get the six Runners if you have the Facehugger upgrade. These Runners are helpful in spotting cloaked Predators and those annoying Stalkers. Still, make as many Predaliens as you can. You will need a good amount of them to finish this level. 30 is a good amount.
From the middle of the map, head south. There is a complex with Marines here. You don’t have to kill them, but it’s great for powering up your Predaliens, plus you can get your last two Runners with the Kurn here. It also may be a good idea to move your Queen to the middle of the map, in case you need reinforcements. Don’t bother making Warriors with the human bodies. Increase the size of your army of Predaliens if you want, otherwise head to the far west side of this map, then south into the cave.
Inside here, there are tons of Predators, but your Predaliens should be stron enough now to take them out. Force your way through the cave to the Clan Leader, who is in the back. Kill him to complete this level. If you need reinforcements, there should be plenty of bodies left outside for you. Your best move is to just run straight at the Clan Leader and focus all your attacks on him to end this level.
