Recently, Ritchie has been having less then perfect days. First, he got the chicken pox and had to go home early from the South American portion of the 5ive world tour. Then, him and Billie broke up and now he got into a horrifying car accident. The scary part is the fact that it happened in the same place, for the same reason, and in the same model car as the accident that took the life of 5ive's former manager, Bob Herbert, last August. Luckily, Ritchie walked away from the accident without a bruise. What has Ritchie had to say about this whole ordeal? "At the end of the day everything has always turned out good for me. I left school and went straight into a top pop group. I guess I was due in for this. I only hope it ends soon."

Ritchie and Billie have broken up. The couple who had been together for about 18 months has decided to go their own seperate ways. They mutually decided upon this. As for a new girlfriend for Ritchie? "No, I'm not going to be seeing anyone this soon. Not yet at least."
