If you're a bit lost or just wondering something, here's the place to look...
Word For Word, which was born from the minds of CompuHighers, is aimed at homeschooled teens. Because we haven't yet found a magazine dedicated to homeschooled teens, or at least understands them. Because we're different than public schooled teens, right? Right. I won't get into that, but it was time for Word For Word to come.
We're very new. We were founded on Sunday, May 12th, 2002. (Mother's Day)
Q. Where do you guys come from?
A. If you asked 'Where was Word For Word born?' you'd get the same answer: CompuHigh. The place where evil rubber chickens are hunted with plastic spoons, and where the hunters wear shower caps...all the time.
Q. What's with two homeschooled teen magazines?
A. It's kind of a long story but I'll try and make it short. There were many misunderstandings at first. Blue-also from CompuHigh, and editor of C and C-High Teen Zeen-and Starlie both got a bit confused and thought they were doing Word For Word together. In the end though, they agreed that they work much better on their own (with help from your guys, of course.) and that it would be even better with two homeschooled teens online magazines. And so now you are offered two different point of views and prospectives . You can of course, email Blue and request to be added to the list of her magazine, if you like. =)
(NOTE: Blue is now doing an offline version, and it is only for CompuHighers. This is due to people who sent her viruses simply because she was sending out the magazine. So if you're a CompuHigher and still wish for it to come, though it'll come by snail mail, then you can email her.)
If your question wasn't answered, than feel free to email me.
