I saw a spirit wind
Just the other day
Invisible to sight
Cyclone per se’.
A flock of leaves
Were given flight,
Lifted from earth
In a magical sight.
Given life by tree,
Heeding natures call.
Each one set free,
Tumbling in fall.
Upon dormant ground
Providing cheerful color,
Each awaited life again
From their master mother.
Knowing flight before,
Having weight of feather.
Awaiting a spirit wind
With a tail once a tether.
As birds are seen to do
Overhead soaring around
Playing musical chairs
Without audible sound.
Music suddenly stops,
They quickly rustle down.
Spirit wind has nestled
Each in new green down.
