Choose wisely

When blown the blossoms lightly late blooms of summer past,

as washed dawns coloured spectrum upon life's canvas splashed,

when loudly beckons hallowed halls of amity and passion,

wherein late reason doth retreat from fears of revelation,

drink deeply of life's nectar sweet draughts of quintessent wine,

rest timely where stand portals to compassion built so fine,

those Eden garden's fragrances with poppy-juice and myrrh,

compounds idyllic chemistry makes reasons flight a blur,

for here within these castled walls impervious to doubt,

where souls recharge and wounds are healed protected from without,

take not in feeble disbelief the spectrum of the rainbow,

wrapped lovingly with fragile hands in gentleness of moon's glow,

intensify your warm embrace of things far more ethereal,

make sharp your senses to the joys of all things immaterial,

this path shall be eternally made reflective of your choosing,

let wisdom be your guardian make happiness your musing,

share not your days with spectres of remorse nor yet regret,

make wonder at the colours and sweet song of the coquette,

for varied are the numerous paths to bitterness and sorrow,

whilst singular and of your choosing the journey to tomorrow,

wherein you stand at destiny's gates and she your lead must follow,

this then is sweet utopia of which enchantment tells,

rest long and savour dreams of past with aphrodician spells.
