For my daily driver I took a less ambitious approach. 1st I bought an 82 Trans Am with v8 and a stick for $650. It needed alot of mechanical work as just about everything on it was worn out or just plain done wrong. Probably the biggest cosmetic flaw was that the passenger rear fender was crushed up pretty bad as the previous owner had not set the parking brake and it rolled back and hit a telephone pole, or so he had said. Fortunately, the work the previous owner had done on the fender had helped and not made the damage worse. He used a hydraulic jack to push out the fender out to roughly where it should be.

Here you will see that although there still a little to much shape in the quarter and notice the lack of the body accent line, the panel is looking a lot better. This required the use of a wide variety of hammers, dollies and a couple of slappers to get it this far
