Topic: Profile/Bio
Hey everybody!
This site has been a blast. What I've been up to since '76....graduated from ULM (Still NLU to me) in Dec. '79 with a degree in Interior Design. Married in June '79 to Mark Cole from Ball, La. (Near Pineville). Been married 27 years. He's one of the administrators at Central La. State Hospital (yes the nut house) and is close to receiving his PHD in psychology. I work part-time as a church administrator and have been there almost 12 years and love the people there. We have two children - a daughter, Mackenzie-19, college student and a son, Keaton-16, a junior at Tioga High School and a member of the drumline. Look forward to seeing everybody!
By the way, I located Mr. Halbrook (it's Dr. Halbrook, now) He might actually try to come. I'm sending him info..

Retired and enjoying every minute of it - for a total of 31 days so far!
I taught junior high at Start School in Richland Parish for 17 years – mostly science. I spent the last 10 years with ULM’s teacher professional development center working as coordinator of various state professional development grants and two National Science Foundation projects – Delta Rural Systemic Initiative and DAMSALS2. My job also included contract work for K-12 teacher professional development across the state with a focus on science and information technology. I married my best friend, Woody Armfield. When I married Woody, I inherited two beautiful girls and serve as a full time step-mom. Both girls are now in college - Lacey is a beginning junior and Amber is a sophomore at ULM. Woody and I both retired this summer and have recently moved to our retirement home on top of a mountain in the Ozarks…where we plan to finish our house, fish, and hike…a lot.
Bio update
Now Playing: Let's keep it up!
As Patience has mentioned in earlier posts, the response has been unbelievable...with the exception of submitting personal history/updates
I have received 14 bio's to this point...considering the number of confirmed attendees, this is pitiful!
to those of you (and you know who you are), thanks for your quick response...
please lean on anyone you have contacted or know that will attend and plead with them to submit their information...
Thanks for all your help

Dear Mrs., Ms, or Miss Toni,
I don't give a crap about who or what is posted on "our" 76 website. When someone posts something on there about other reunion groups being at the game, I wanted to ask them some questions like: how many, where they will be seated etc., etc.. Can you understand? I am buying supplies for our tailgate gettogether, and would like to have plenty in case others came by. We would like to offer them some and be friendly,,,, If that's OK with you??????
When someone doesn't sign their name, there can be no further communication, can there?

Our reunion is really gaining steam. Last week when I checked, this site had 208 hits in one day. Yesterday we had 602 hits so it looks like we should start selling advertisements now (lol). Great job by everyone in getting the word out!!!
We are interested to hear from the poster who mentioned the classes of 86' and 96' also being at the football game Friday night. Maybe we could at least meet and mingle before the game and bridge the generation gap a little bit. Please ID yourself to Scott Miller (the blog deputy).
Oh, and all you mystery boys and girls who don't give your name...don't be shy. Tell us who you are and who's your daddy. That's all folks!

My bio
I have been busy since high school. I did a few small jobs, Brookshires and Bealls before starting with AT&T. I now have twenty-eight years with AT&T and waiting to retire in March of 2008. I joined the US Coast Guard in 2000 and got injured in a training accident that ended up getting me retired from them in 2003. Luckily I took a military leave of absence from AT&T so my time was bridged. I also sell real estate in Georgia now, been doing that for eight years now along with my wife Debra.
I married Debra 11 years ago in Las Vegas, we have two children, Dean 28 and Emily 23.
We live in Cumming, GA, a town just north of Atlanta. Debra and I are into competitive pistol shooting and raising our four dogs.
