PGSM - Act Forty-Two
Human Luna gives the recap - people all over the city have been collapsing and losing their souls.
While she talks, it flashes back to Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter fighting youma, and revealing themselves to Naru and Motoki respectively.
Then Princess Sailor Moon blew things up and made a general mess. She only stopped when Usagi interfered.
Mio is entertained whenever Usagi turns into Princess Sailor Moon. She tells Mamoru that at this rate, Usagi probably will destroy the world.
Mamoru says that he believes in Usagi.
Then Mio tells him to be careful, and points to a picture that mysteriously appears on the wall. The picture is of a landscape. Very frightening.
Beryl summons Jadeite and gives him a triangle shaped stone, telling him to put it in Endymion's body. No clear directions as to how he is supposed to do that are given. This is, apparently, going to separate him from the princess.

Back at Crown, they are discussing what happened. Luna says that Metallica is getting stronger. Usagi knows that it's the MSC that's strengthening Metallica.
She goes to see Naru in the hospital, apologizing many times. Naru is hurt that Usagi didn't tell her that she could transform into Sailor Moon. She's more upset about that, then Usagi hurting her.
The Dark Kingdom is no longer a complex of caves, but now it is a large house, with dark wood paneling and extreme back lighting. This is probably because Beryl thinks that Mamoru would rather live in a house than a cave.
Jadeite flashes back to what Beryl told him to do before the theme song, just in case anyone forgot. He gazes at the stone that Beryl gave him.
Kunzite is outside, in a forest that looks sort of like the one from Act Three and Act Twenty-Eight . He is swinging his sword around, making sound effects.
Zoisite comes out to tell him that Jadeite has gone back over to Beryl. Kunzite doesn't seem surprised as he continues to slash at the air. Zoisite asks if Kunzite will join him in protecting Mamoru-Endymion. He asks if Kunzite will ever be free of wanting revenge.
Kunzite says no.
Zoisite asks why he doesn't just kill Mamoru and have it over with. Kunzite does not like that Zoisite is implying that he doesn't really want to kill Mamoru. [I like this scene]
While the audience was in the Dark Kingdom, Usagi summed up the previous episodes for Naru - who hadn't been watching the show.
We return just in time to hear Usagi say how she has to work hard to control the MSC, otherwise Bad Things will happen.
Naru says that must be stressful - no wonder she's not concentrating on school. Usagi is startled by how well Naru is taking all of this. But Naru trusts Usagi.
So Usagi goes to take a bath.
She decides to embark on endurance training.... By staying in the bathtub for three hours.
Luna(cat form) gets worried because this is a very long bath. She goes in to see Usagi be swallowed by the bathtub. (Luna's real line - it needed no embellishing)
While Luna is hovering over the bathtub, Shingo comes in and sees her moving and talking. So she transforms, and then comes out, muttering something about being Usagi's friend, and then hurries out of the bathroom.
Shingo watches her go upstairs, his eyes on her tail. He decides to pretend he didn't see that.
Usagi's mother scolds her for staying in the hot tub so long, and tucks her in with an ice pack. She asks if Usagi is going on a diet, and says that Usagi doesn't need to... Usagi is going to take after her mother, who is nice and thin after all.
Luna the cat is worried that Shingo saw her.
Meanwhile, the youma from the previous episode is still running around (well, walking) wrecking havoc and making people fall off bikes.
Motoki is feeding his turtle. He says that then his turtle will have lots of energy.
Unlike some...
Nephrite is quietly mopping the floor, not even responding when Motoki calls him by various nicknames. He's well and truly depressed. He starts to walk away, but when Ami comes in, he stops. They share a look and then the scene changes.
Ami goes into their room and is startled to see Usagi bundled up in blankets, surrounded by heaters. Luna, Rei and Makoto are trying to keep cool as Makoto explains - this is endurance training for Usagi.
Also on her list of things to do for endurance training is to read difficult math problems and eating hot food (spicy) that she doesn't like. This is interesting training.
Mamoru is encouraging her from a distance... or however far away the Dark Kingdom is.
Jadeite comes in with the stone. It hasn't been said what the stone is for, but there is always dramatic music accompanying it, so it can't be good.
Then, piano music gives Jadeite a headache. Zoisite is playing again, willing Jadeite to remember the past.
Jadeite leans against a window (for being the Dark Kingdom, it is surprisingly bright) and remembers back in the past... Arm wrestling with Nephrite and losing, and then Endymion defeating Nephrite. Good times.
Then the music stops, as though it is switched off.
In a way it has. Zoisite's hands are on the keys, but he can't move. Beryl has paralyzed him. Then he passes out, and collapses very gracefully on the floor.
Jadeite returns to Mamoru and, without preamble, walks up to him and presses the stone against his chest. Mamoru absorbs it into himself, and then after a few moments of very unflattering shots, collapses.
Jadeite says that whatever happened in the past, he serves Beryl now.
Beryl stands there, looking dramatic.
Ami and Usagi are going to the hospital, when they see a lot of people collapsed. This is convenient, since they're already at the hospital.
Luna becomes a girl and tells the girls that the youma isn't in the hospital, even though it was previously.
The three senshi run outside and find the youma. It's the same one. Usagi warns Ami and Luna that it's a strong youma and then all three of them Make Up in rotating split screen. It's fun.
They cartwheel over to the youma, except for Luna who is more sensible and runs. They blast at the youma, but it seems to draw strength from the Earth, and it attacks them, hurting Sailor Mercury.
Sailor Moon tells herself to calm down. Twice.
The helicopter flies overhead as the MSC starts to glow. Then, as the youma goes to blast them again, Endymion in full white get out rushes over, deflecting the blast back to the youma.
He tells Sailor Moon that she's getting better at controlling the power.
Mio ruins the moment by walking in and telling Mamoru that she warned him what would happen if he went near Usagi. Beryl's voice takes over, asking if Endymion would throw his life away for the princess.
Endymion looks in pain, and he collapses to his knees.
Mio tells Sailor Moon that the stone inside of him will drain a little bit of his life whenever he thinks of Usagi. So if anything happens to him, it's all her fault. Then he and Mio vanish.
Sailor Moon is upset by this, and she goes off in a daze. The youma blasts her and she transforms to Princess Sailor Moon without fanfare (or a transformation sequence). She and the youma sword fight. (Not just blasting at each other) and then she summons power. The flowers all around her die, and more people collapse.
Nephrite suddenly looks alarmed, and he looks at his reflection. Nope. Still human, but yet... he feels his power returning.
Mercury falls and Princess Moon hesitates. Then she holds up her sword, and in a spiffy bit of animation, it transforms into a harp. Princess Moon starts to play, floating up on... a crane covered in white cloth.
Mercury looks at her arm to discover that she's been healed. The flowers bloom again. Princess Moon's harp turns back into a sword and she does her star attack on the youma. But then... Usagi interferes, drawing the power back in.
Usagi and Princess Moon are Somewhere Else (Like back in Act Thirty-Eight ) and Usagi is telling her to stop. But all that Princess Moon can say is "Where is Endymion?" (She's a girl of few words)
Princess Moon says that there is nothing for her but Endymion - the only one who ever say her as a person instead of just a princess. Without Endymion, there is no need for the Earth.
Usagi disagrees. Strongly. There's Naru, and her mother, and her brother, and her friends after all.
Princess Moon says that Usagi will do the same thing she did, and she vanishes. Sailor Moon returns to Sailor Mercury and Sailor Luna.
Luna Sugare Candy, Mercury Aqua Storm and Moon Twilight Flash make the youma retreat.
They praise her for not blowing lots of things up. There will be a time to safely use the power of the MSC, but that's not right now. Sailor Moon vows that she will not use it until then.
Mamoru collapses into a chair in his room. The picture that Mio showed him before is getting a white spot burning into it.
At the end of this episode, there is an image of Princess Moon with her sword, and one of her with her harp next to each other.
