PGSM - Act Forty-One
Usagi tells the audience at home that the MSC is increasing Queen Metallica's power and causing earth quakes and all around Bad Things.
There is an ominous montage as groaning fog blows around through the city.
Even Beryl has to shield her eyes from the glow of Metallica.
Theme Song
Usagi is unhappy with her report card. She's been trying hard, but she still isn't doing so well. Ami reluctantly surrenders her report card and lets Usagi see her excellent grades.
As their walking, her teacher comments that he'll always be around to teach her. Usagi and Ami nod politely and then walk away rather quickly.
Naru hurries over to them. Their summer homework is to do some volunteer work, and Naru isn't sure what they should do.
Back at Crown, Motoki asks his turtle where they should go in vacation, while Nephrite furiously mops the floor.
Addressing him as Nephikichi-kun, Motoki tells him not to be so aggressive. He angrily replies that he doesn't want to do these sorts of jobs.
Suddenly, a panicked look crosses his eyes, and he starts to run off. Motoki stops him and hauls him back, just as the reason for Nephrite's panic enters the building: Usagi and Ami.
He knows who they are, but they don't seem to recognize him. He stands there frozen as Motoki introduces him as "Nephenie" the new part timer.
Usagi giggles at his name, but Ami softly tells her not to laugh.
Nephrite is furious that two of the senshi are laughing at him, and he grabs Motoki, slamming him angrily against the counter.
Makoto comes in, just in time to see this, and she grabs Nephrite, flinging him across the room.
Usagi quickly stops Makoto from doing anything else as Nephrite flees the scene.
Motoki defends Nephrite. He's not all bad, but he's all alone, and he loses his temper.
Ami watches him run off, a somewhat speculative look on her face. Usagi also has a speculative look on her face as she watches Makoto and Motoki interact.
Downstairs, Rei is ignoring Luna dancing around and thinking back on Minako's words - that Rei doesn't understand how important their mission is.
The others come down. It seems that Rei has called this meeting. She says that she thinks that Minako is too obsessed with their past life. The others don't seem as bothered by Minako's interest in the past. Makoto, for one, thinks that the past life is important.
Then they change subject to talking about their assignment to find volunteer work.
Scene change to Usagi, Ami, Naru and Makoto at a preschool, where they are going to play with the kids. Usagi dresses as a pink bunny, Ami as a blue penguin, as a turtle, and Naru as a leopard as they play.
Usagi tells Ami that she thinks they should get Makoto and Motoki together, so they launch their evil plan into action.
Ami returns to Crown to tell Motoki that she's spotted a new kind of turtle near the preschool. He quickly puts on safari gear and hurries off, telling Nephrite (who is dusting and moping) to mind the shop.
He calls him by two different nicknames, and each time, Nephrite angrily tells him not to. He slams the duster on the counter, knocking things to the floor.
Ami watches, and then starts to pick things up for him.
He tells her not to help, but she persists, quietly taking the mop from him.
Nephrite watches her silently. As she mops, he flashes back to Act Twenty-Four, when she was Darkury and she gave him his cape.
He mutters that he's pitiful and he runs off, tripping over a bucket.
Usagi and Makoto carry a basket of things out to the washing machine, which is outside. (I wonder what happens when it rains). Usagi says that she'll leave it to Makoto and skips off.
Makoto is not pleased about that.
Then she spots Motoki in his safari outfit, running around with binoculars. She questions what he's doing, besides looking weird.
He says that Ami said there was a new type of turtle around here. Then they start laughing, because she is dressed like a turtle.
Usagi is watching and she acts out a conversation between the two of them, with Motoki offering to help Makoto.
But he just leaves, and Usagi rushes over, demanding to know why Makoto let him leave. By this point, Makoto knows that Usagi set them up.
Luna feels an evil presence. It must have something to do with all the smoke.
Now minus animal costumes, Makoto and Usagi are hanging up clothes, while Usagi goes on and on about how perfect Mako and Motoki would be together.
Makoto insists that she is meant to be alone.
As he's walking home, Motoki is talking about how impressed he was with Makoto. Suddenly, someone crashes their bike in front of him, collapsing. Motoki hurries over to help
The biker isn't the only one who collapsed - the teachers at the preschool did too. Naru happened to walk in and see that no one was watching the kids.
They try to do damage control, and Makoto takes a head count, and comes up one short.
Makoto hurries off, looking for him, and she's startled to see all the collapsed people. Motoki is helping the people, but he goes off to help Makoto look for the missing little boy. They appear to be in an area with a lot of variety in scenery because they travel through quite a few places before they find the kid up in a tree. Never mind how he got there…
Motoki climbs the tree and gets the boy down, although he ends up falling out of the tree, but at least he breaks the kid's fall.
Naru and Usagi are at the amusement park, just in time to see people collapse. Makoto calls over to say she found the boy, and they confer about the unconscious people.
Meanwhile, Motoki is carrying the little boy around on his shoulders, singing a song about turtles.
Makoto wipes some sweat off Motoki and tells him that her father used to sing that song too.
Things get cutely awkward for a bit, because Motoki likes her still.
Interrupting the mood, the creepy black and white youma turn up. Usagi and Makoto both think that they can't transform in front of Naru and Motoki respectively.
Motoki tells Makoto to run and he attacks the youma…. Not very successfully.
Usagi decides there's nothing for it, and she transforms in front of Naru. She poses four times, and then uses Moon Tiara Boomerang to hit three youma in rapid succession
The helicopter that periodically flies over during the dramatic fight scenes turns up as Makoto looks at Motoki on the ground and then she transforms.
The sun sets instantly and they teleport to a bridge. Sailor Jupiter summons a lightning storm, and uses Supreme Thunder to explode the youma.
Then she turns to Motoki, who is shocked. He says that she's a super hero.
She tells him that this is the reason why she said they couldn't be together before.
He says that he understands, but it's a bit forced.
Sailor Moon tells Naru to hide, and then cartwheels over to resume fighting. Moon Healing Escalation melts the youma, but then they merge together into a bigger one wearing armor.
There are lots of explosions and Sailor Moon determines that this youma is too strong for her.
Then she starts to glow. The MSC is reacting to her fear. She remembers what happened last time, and tries to stop it. While she is distracted, more things blow up, courtesy of the youma.
Sailor Jupiter arrives, but too late. Sailor Moon under goes her second transformation, into Princess Sailor Moon.
She carelessly deflects the fireballs that the youma throws at her, and she uses her Star Attack of Doom to blow up the youma and most of everything else.
Naru, Sailor Jupiter and Mamoru in the Dark Kingdom, are all worried. Princess Sailor Moon acts nothing like Usagi.
In the course of Princess Sailor Moon flinging fireballs all over the place, Naru gets hurt.
That's enough for her to revert back to Usagi right after the youma leaves.
Usagi rushes over to Naru and then the horrible realization of what she's done hits her.
She really does have the power to destroy the world.
Princess Sailor Moon has a harp at the end of the show.
