Common Knowledge: Celsius was bargained for by Perone, who upon visiting Mastersmith Hiylorn's Hall had great urgings from Wrath to take her as a candidate.  Celsius is at the Weyr only to make her father happy.  She disdains the Weyr and is very afraid.  She has craftbred values, and will openly scathe those who carry on with same sex relations.

Physical Description: Standing 5'10", Celsius is a tall slender woman with a delicate build.  She has a look of innocence about her that is only enhanced by her head of neck length blonde curls that frame her face.  She has a slender neck.  Her eyes are wide, colored a deep brown and very doe-ish.  Her nose is slightly turned up.  Her skin is pale for the Southern Continent, she did after all just arrive from the Telgar region.  She burns easily so wears a bonnet when going outside along with long sleeves.  She enjoys pastels when sewing her clothing.


Personality: Craftbred with traditional values.  the Weyr is a strange scary place for her.  She puts on a brave face, but inside she is overwhelmed.  She is a continent away from all the people she has ever known.  She believes her suffering will bring her family honor, especially if she Impresses the gold.  She resents that her father traded her for unlimited transportation access from the Weyr, but knows he was looking out for his Hall.

She is good at delicate tasks, such as sewing and embroidery.  She doesn't like the thought of homosexuality and will not hide that she thinks it is morally wrong.  She enjoys hot meals, but finds bubbly pies a bit too sweet.  The smell of klah makes her sick in the morning, and she is a bright and cheery morning type person.


History: She was born the second child of Hiylorn and Grena.  The former would soon after earn his Master knots and by the time she was ten would become the oldest surviving member of the craft, and thus the Mastersmith of Pern.  She lived a peaceful life, aside from earthshake and plague.  Her family was lucky to elude the gruesome effects of the events.  Losing only older members of the family and not any nuclear parts.

At the end of her 19th year, she was engaged to be married to a particulaty gifted man in the craft.  She was set to live a happy life with him forever after.  However, that changed when a certain bluerider came to make a deal with her father.  The Weyrleader of Pern, the lady Perone, made an offer the Mastersmith could not refuse.  Unlimited transportion provided by the Weyr.  The craft needed this to get back on their feet.

When the clutch was laid, Perone came to collect the young woman.  Celsius is set on Impressing the gold, only that will satisfy her.
